I've noticed that people from the northern hemisphere always draws the shadows in the right side while all southern guys (like me) draw the shadows in the left.

I like the video but I would of liked a slower approach with more detailed steps

What an incredible tutorial. Excited to try these techniques out myself.

I don't use Procreate, I do most of my work in Illustrator on the PC, but i still found this an interesting video. I recently got a new tablet with a stylus, so need to check what my options are for hand drawing on this. One thing i have found with shading and using Multiply blending modes, like you I often use black (or greys), but I also find using a darker version of the base colour in Multiply mode can give a less muddy effect, especially useful if you want vibrant colours.

I have practiced your techniques. But in my story a cataclysm broke the continent. Reformingthe mountains into an east to west orintation. Do you have any techniques for drawing mountains this way?
