Canon RF lens cap issues solved - No dremel needed
มุมมอง 29521 วันที่ผ่านมา
@mstrathmore and seemingly also @jan_wegener thought modifying the RF rear lens cap is a good idea, to remedy the issue, that it can take a bit of effort to get the cap back on. Well .... here is the solution, that does not require a Dremel. Want to connect with other Canon users ? Join us on the Canon Connect Discord: discord.gg/3tMHjBjZkg

Will this work for pocket 3 with external usb c mic and charging it same time?
I setup tailscale but my web socket server IP stayed the same so I still can’t connect. Please help I’m not sure how to get that part to work 😭
Congratulations bruh
Hey bud. Have you looked into Kinefinity optics? I hear good things.
Kinefinity would be total overkill to what I do.

Great video. Quick one, can i use the Canon DR-E6C with a small rig V99? My usb-c just randomly stopped working, so I plan to use the dummy battery with a smallrig v99 so I can use it on the field.
You'd need the DR-E6C and the Anton Bauer P-tap to Canon 9V cable. It'll work with any V-mount then. There's links for that stuff in the video description.
@@EmeraldAudiovisual thank you for this.
Godsent! Thank you for such a clear explanation~ Spent a few hours trying to configure this. wish I found your video earlier! thumbs up!
The video of pocket3 is overall frame dropping, uncomfortable to look at.
Can rcn2 livestream using android 1080p bitrate 5mb?
Yes
Straight to the point, clear and precise video. Thanks for the great help.
So there's no way around using the Mimo app right?
Don't know have you noticed but the video is blurry.
Excellent video thanks. I have a Ninja V and a Zoom F6. I am only really interested in timecode. Can the latest Atomos Connect firmware allow a direct blue tooth connection with the Zoome F6 / BTA-1 adapter, or do you still need the Atomos Blue or Ultrasync in between? Or do I need to find the older Atomos Sync module still for that?
Bluetooth timecode was added to the Atomos Connect modules some time this year, so that should work. I've not tested it yet. It's on my todo list, as I've got a Zoom F2-BT bodypack.
@@EmeraldAudiovisual Thanks for the quick response. There is a connect for sale nearby, which I am considering. Would you be able to try pairing them and let me know please?
Is there a decent but cheap phone that works well with IRL Pro? I wanted to use Pixel 5 but the wide angle camera is cropped to the same viewing angle as the main camera, disappointing.
they want you to buy into there subscription now, to use NDI Features, lame.
Magewell makes good NDI Stuff, i own a few, of the 4k hdmi, to ndi boxes. and other things and capture cards, they have NDI Software, to let your magewell capture card/device, send out NDI, but it not supported, and i got it out of them, via email. Magewell Bridge For NDI.
you know Ipad has all the Best NDI Apps, so many.
I'm working on a video about TopDirector. There's quite a few NDI related apps, yes. But even for Apple TV boxes, there is the Sienna NDI Monitor app, which is really useful as a NDI receiver into a hardware video infrastructure.
I bought a Ninja Ultr , then i come find out Samsung quit making 860 Pro, drives, and now your stuck with a few companies Overcharging for SSD Drives. It should of Been NVME or have a Thunderbolt Connection or something, high speed USB C.
I actually need to make an updated video. A few things have improved, but there's still a lot of stuff lacking. Angelbird is your best bet for drives. They're good and pricing is decent.
@@EmeraldAudiovisual you know there is a "Firmware" page, no need to go into your account, they update constantly.
mine errors, every time, for setting up wifi? and their is 4 URL LISTED? i tried all 4.
First make sure, that you can connect using DJI Mimo. Just to make sure, that your wifi router or personal hotspot (whatever you are using) isn't on a frequency, that doesn't work. When that works, check the IPs in the RTMP server setup of Moblin. There are little logos in front of each. Use the one with the Personal Hotspot one (2 rings) if you use Personal Hotspot or the Wifi one (wifi logo) if you are using a wireless AP/router.
@@EmeraldAudiovisual yeh it works flawless with mimo.
@@tek_soup And if you use the Personal Hotspot method, like demonstrated in my video, make sure to jump out of Moblin and disable/enable Personal Hotspot before you connect. Personal Hotspot in iOS is a bit like that. It sometimes refuses the connections, unless you kick it.
@@EmeraldAudiovisual yeh, i think i did that by accident, i did get it working briefly, then i moved out of it, to export, the settings option, and by time i came back, quit working. you have a video, on how to setup, with my home wifi? that would be better, im just testing, and if i was to go live, i guess i would get a small mobile router/access point. im just learning this, thanks.
@@tek_soup Same process. Just give it the credentials of the local wifi access point and connect your iPhone to that, too. Then use the IP, that's marked as wifi IP.
I really like this channel, great stuff! perfect!
Thank You! exactly what i was looking for. wish DJI built in NDI.
can you send nextwork out from Live u solo pro to another device like yolobox
No. The LiveU Solo Pro is .. much like the YoloBox .. an encoder. Not a router.
😂😂😂
Cable name
Awesome & Thanks :)
im setting up a green screen room and was going to use the neo to record these sessions into obs, is this even possible?
All you need for that is a RTMP proxy. Sure.
@EmeraldAudiovisual sweet! yeah i was watching the video and perhaps im getting a lil bit ahead of myself but, its easier to break into the drone game when you have some sort of a course plotted. thanks for your time! i think ill get a neo, idk if* the mini 4k with the remote is a better option, they are super close in price and im clicking video after video looking for people who shared some expertise.
I like how you're using the colors to differentiate things on the different M/E assignments. Reminds me just a "little bit" of the color coding convention used on Skaarhoj controllers. And MixEffect ftw 👍
It helps keeping track on what pages you are on without the distraction of the blinking buttons, that you have when using the panel with the Atem Software Control. Made the whole panel so much more useful. I'm glad that all buttons are multicolored.
i have the pocket 1 with the adapter to a wired mic and the crazy thing is u can't charge it while using that adapter. i'm fully aware of the abuse of power these companies use with their peripherals to generate more money, but this is just pathetic. the adapter is expensive enough as is, they could just sell another one with 2 inputs and generate more money. seriously not being able not charge while using an external mic? IMO says a lot about a company and how they view their customers.
DJI was still experimenting around a lot with the Pocket 1 and 2. They were new to the action cam market. Things really only got good with the DJI Osmo Action 4 and the Pocket 3.
Nice work!
Thanks
A link to the Companion pages can be found in the video description.
I can not get the DJI pocket 3 to send the audio to Moblin
You can either let the DJI device auto-switch the audio (there is a toggle, that I show in the video) or you can toggle it yourself. The little microphone icon/button in the sidebar lets you choose, where the audio comes from.
@@EmeraldAudiovisualyes when I select the audio from the pocket 3 it says unknown zero channels on the screen.
I am bonded over star link and Verizon so it is going over the star link WiFi. When i turn on the hotspot on my phone and do it the same way you did. I still have the same problem
@@rickperdue4748 Haha ... trust your ears, not your eyes. That's normal for RTMP input in Moblin. The audio is coming from the Pocket 3.
@@rickperdue4748 You can't use the Personal Hotspot of the iPhone, if you're using the wifi for data. You should tell Moblin to connect the DJI camera to the Starlink Wifi instead and use the correct IP for the camera to connect to the iPhone that way.
Do you book consultations or offer a way to chat with you personally? I would like to chat with you and ask some questions.

Oh, awesome! I've never used a Stream Deck-so cool to see all the options!
This specificly is Stream Decks used with Bitfocus Companion. Lots and lots of software and hardware supported for remote control and you just set it up, as you want/like it. Makes live streams and production so much easier.
This tutorial series has been extremely helpful. I hope you can complete it someday. Thank you.
any good android options ?
For streaming, there is "IRL Pro", but it can't do screencasting. I believe "Prism Live" can do screen casting. There is nothing quite like Moblin on Android.
@@EmeraldAudiovisual tnx can prism do send it to my pc into obs ? over 4g /5g
@@playmatee1 All of these apps can. What is unique to Moblin and IRL Pro, is that they can use more than one connection / modem, so you're less likely to drop offline.
so now u can stream over 4g/5g network from anywhere ?
Thanks so much for this!! This is such a game changer for me!
can you show how to do the obs remote control?
Actually thanks for mentioning "The Live Streamer for Heros" app. I never heard of it. I tried it today with GoPro 10. I was a bit skeptical, but so far it's been alright. Seems like I am able to get more than 5000kbps. I did some tests, definitely less artifacts for a bicycle stream.
Hey dude great video, do you have any issue with the cam disconnecting from the hotspot ? The guys on the Moblin discord told me iphone hotspots are unrelivable and drop out....
I used the personal hotspot in the video for ease, but an external router / access point is always a better plan. a) you loose your wifi as one of your internet sources, when you use it as personal hotspot. b) you will also have issues with modems connected via bluetooth, when personal hotspot is enabled. b) an external router/access point will have better antennas and will be more stable.
How does the tutorial work with an external mobile router if you’re not using the iPhone hotspot to connect the Op3? Does this router first need to provide a hotspot to the iPhone and then for example, do I need to enter the SSID and password of the router, like a Netgear M4, in Moblin and then it will work?
@@93FrICeZ That is the correct approach, yes.
That's another great feature of Moblin. Thanks for sharing! My GoPro 10 can only push 5000 and it's not enough for certain situations. I'm guessing this works with Dji Osmo Action 4 the same way as Pocket 3. Maybe it's worth an upgrade to OA4 as they are a bit cheaper now that OA5 came out.
DJI camera control in Moblin currently supports the DJI Osmo Action 3, Action 4 and Pocket 3. Spillmaker is working on Action 5 Pro, but it's a bit more difficult, so not working yet.
Great instructions, I had to pause a few times to set mine up. However, I can't get it to work, I keep getting a wifi setup error, can't connect to op3, check wifi settings. I can't seem to figure out the one little thing I messed up on.
Try and see, if you can connect using Mimo. The Pocket 3 doesn't like certain 5 GHz channels, so if your Personal Hotspot or whatever wifi router you are using is on those, it won't connect. If it connects with Mimo, it will connect with DJI camera control in Moblin, too.
@@EmeraldAudiovisual I know it works on mimo, I used it this weekend while camping and sending the rtmp to belabox. I will see if my home wifi is messing with it, or some other signal
I can't figure this thing out, I keep getting fail to set up wifi after clicking on Start Live Stream, I set up my action 4 and pocket 3 and get the same error. It is something in the wifi, but I can't figure out what the problem is. It acts like it is trying to connect from the app to the camera, but always fails at setting up wifi.
@@powerkarma Are you using the "Personal Hotspot" on the iPhone ? If so, jump out of Moblin, just before you start the connection of the Pocket 3, disable Personal Hotspot, re-enable it again, then jump back into Moblin and connect the camera. That can make all the difference. Generally, I recommend to use an external wifi access point, like the GL.inet ones, for your wifi. That way, it can also add another internet connection to your stream.
@@EmeraldAudiovisual I just found this trick out last night from Terry B. I got it working now.
The weakest link is still the wifi connection between the Pocket 3 and your mobile.. This is a problem, especially if you're using it in cities where thre are miltiple wifi signals floating around.
Even for that, Moblin has a solution. IF you're using an iPad with a USB-C port ... (and an iPad Mini is actually pretty compact), Moblin can use the Osmo Pocket 3 (and the Osmo Action 4) as UVC camera ... using a cable !! This does not work on iPhones and Apple devices with Lightning ports unfortunately, but that's not Moblins fault. That's simply Apple not supporting it on anything else but USB-C iPads.
@@EmeraldAudiovisual DJI should impiment a better system for live streaming besides RTMP via WIFI to their app on another device period. RTMP is old. I personally don't wish to invest in Apple period.
Is this rtmp connection with 60fps?
Belabox will take anything you feed it. Be aware though, that none of the action cameras out there currently will do 60fps for RTMP. Even the GoPro Hero 13 doesn't (their website is wrong, I've tested it and confirmed it with them. It's 30fps). And the DJI cams also only do 30fps on RTMP. You can get 60fps out of something like a Panasonic Lumix GH5-II, GH7 or S5-II X. But not the action cameras.
@@EmeraldAudiovisual thx!!! At the moment I stream with a sony x3000 with a hdmi connection. This works perfect with 60fps. Panasonic Lumix GH5-II and the other cams support streaming with 60fps via rtmp?? 🤔
@@EdelwiseEntertainment The 3 specific models of Lumix cameras, I mentioned, are capable of doing RTMP in 60fps, yes.
@ thx a lot!!!
@ is it possibile to use belabox with orange pi 5+ and a sony 6700 to create a stream with usb connection?
I don't know what happen but when I do that the image has fps drops, or a little bit of lagging like micro cuts. I don't know if is me, or Moblin
Since I do it like this, the screen gets cut off
Moblin got an update today, should be much better :D And if not perfect, I blame DJI! :hehe
@@SM0003 still dont working well
@@AlexBoken the RTMP source matters. My GoPro does well, so does my Sony NX800
@@SM0003 I use teh pocket 3 and i dont know what happend
is there any android version?
There is not. The nearest you get to it is either IRL Pro (which can not take an inbound RTMP) or Prism (which can take an inbound RTMP feed, but can't do bonding and said RTMP feed is max 720p)
Great tutorial! I’ve found that camera stutters pretty badly on RTMP when tracking is on - don’t suppose you know of any fix in settings for that, currently I’m just dealing with it but would be nice to use the feature
Tracking and RTMP are not a happy combination in general. That's something DJI needs to fix in firmware, if it ever gets fixed.
A little top tip here: If you enabled "background streaming" under "Streams" in Moblins settings, you can even send Moblin to the background and use your iPhone for other things or turn the iPhone screen off. Moblin only freezes the camera feed for internal cameras. Not for incoming RTMP streams and screen recordings.
