Is there a decent but cheap phone that works well with IRL Pro? I wanted to use Pixel 5 but the wide angle camera is cropped to the same viewing angle as the main camera, disappointing.
@@EmeraldAudiovisual Hmmm, i've watched it many times and checked and re-checked. I even have tp-link too. I've deactivated my firewall. What did you have misconfigured? Thank you SO much! I've been working on this for hours
Hi, that was very helpful and it works for me with my phone. Thank you. Is it possible to combine this method with a GoPro. So I get the video and audio signal from the gopro onto my phone and forward that via this method to my obs at home? I don't have a gopro yet but i would buy one if its possible and you can explain how.
Hi, thank you for showing us how to set it up. ive tried setting it up for myself but im running into an issue. when i start the broadcast it says it cant connect to my server (when testing just between phone, router and OBS) i have set a fixed IP to my pc i have made a port forward of 22222 (UDP) to my fixed IP in OBS i have a video source like you showed and the phone settings are the same as well Any idea what im doing wrong? i feel like it has to do with the router settings as i have a different brand, but as far as i can tell ive done all the steps. as in mine i have to fill in a "start port", "end port", "start mapping port" and "end mapping port" which i all have set to 22222 and then have to connect this "ruleset" to my IP is there anything else i can check? thank you in advance. *Solved the issue* Windows Security Firewall was blocking the connection
so now, when I try to create a new connection, I only get 3 options, quick connect, sign into twitch or kick., or enter in a URL. I don't see what you see.
Hi there. I followed your instructions and everything worked perfectly all the way through public ip, except for one thing. It comes in fine in obs from the public internet, but there is a VERY large delay in audio vs video. I'm using IRL Pro, and the video feed is great (although about 4-5 second delay between broadcast from IRL Pro and receiving in OBS), but the audio comes in EXTREMELY delayed! We are talking 30 seconds or even like 1 minute later! Seems weird. What could it be? PS. I believe this only happens when broadcasting remotely over the internet. Broatcasting over the LAN seemed fine but I haven't looked at it closely to see if there is a slight delay there too. PPS. No I've checked the LAN broadcast too now, and there as well there is a 30s - 1 min delay! So strange. What could it be? How could could a packet which I assume would be muxed video and audio (I think I'm using the right terms), Have video and audio with a 30 second to 1 min difference in playing in OBS? I've followed your instructions exactly, and so all the settings/sources are the same.
Hi, the relay doesn't do anything to the stream audio/video. I only translates from SRTLA to SRT. So if you have desync issues, that's probably on your HDMI feed from the camera or your encoder. But it's not the relay.
This video shows one way to remote control OBS: th-cam.com/video/dHZcMGV8Q4Q/w-d-xo.html . As for switching for stream disconnect and low bitrate, that is a video that I still have to record for the series. You'd need Loopy's SRT Switcher or NOALBS for that.
@@ferrum7625 If you read the description of the video, I have provided the links for the 4.9.x compatibility packages, which allow to run websocket 4.9.x alongside with websocket 5.x. And while it's not maintained anymore, it's working perfectly well. But that's only one example, what you could use. There are also OBS Blade, Streambuddy and other solutions.

Hi! What did you fix when it said "2,000 years later". I am having the same issue. I followed your steps perfectly.
I just had something misconfigured. If you followed the video, it should all work, so you might want to recheck your settings.

@@WATCHHOLLIE I had my OBS PC on my work network and not my test network. As I said .. guaranteed not the same problem, you're having.
Hey can you tell what was wrong with the home external im facing the same issue
Did you ever figure it out?

So if im irl streaming outside on the go? I want to be using my noip ip that i got right???
Hi, thank you for showing us how to set it up.
ive tried setting it up for myself but im running into an issue.
when i start the broadcast it says it cant connect to my server (when testing just between phone, router and OBS)
i have set a fixed IP to my pc
i have made a port forward of 22222 (UDP) to my fixed IP
in OBS i have a video source like you showed
and the phone settings are the same as well
Any idea what im doing wrong?
i feel like it has to do with the router settings as i have a different brand, but as far as i can tell ive done all the steps.
as in mine i have to fill in a "start port", "end port", "start mapping port" and "end mapping port" which i all have set to 22222
and then have to connect this "ruleset" to my IP
is there anything else i can check?
thank you in advance.
*Solved the issue*
Windows Security Firewall was blocking the connection
what would i look for in my firewall? im having the same issue
Hey im having the same issue can you tell me your discord so that you can help me?
I'm also having this issue. All settings followed and turned off window security firewall, and it's still saying "can't Connect to Server"
so now, when I try to create a new connection, I only get 3 options, quick connect, sign into twitch or kick., or enter in a URL. I don't see what you see.
enter a URL should do the trick.
i'm a dolt. my desktop is hardwired

How can I go live from my phone if I'm not at home? Also, how does it allow me to switch scenes when the stream is offline or low bitrate?
