Bishop Auckland is where I grew up and lived until the early 90s. Went to King James I school and have some cracking memories of the place. I revisited last year and was gob smacked, everything is closed. Sad times.

My family immigrated from Italy to Carlisle in 1967. I left to go back to Italy in 1975. Its almost 50 years since but I still cherish the memories of the great people and every single moment of my youth in Carlisle. I live in Rome but Carlisle has always been in my heart. I really hope to come and visit Carlisle before my days are over..
