When I play Factorio, I mostly just complete little bite-sized tasks and make small micro-optimizations here and there if I spot a bottleneck. But in doing so, over time, my factory grows (almost organically) into this complex interdependent system which I can scarcely comprehend at scale. Sure, working on the little stuff is simple enough, but whenever I take the time to step back and regard the factory as a whole, I can't help but ask myself: "how in the world did I build this?" I suspect Hecuba is well familiar with this feeling. This minecraft video is fantastic.
Should I post factorio content on this channel? maybe modded because angels a bob's mods look cool and space exploration is kind of a commitment like this.
Really loved the narration and memes during all of this big process. Also very clean setups for all of those materiales. I would really like to see a series of your playing this packs. New sub, keep the good work.

I am a greg fan (mainly through Threefold), but I've only played Nomifactory myself. This looks similar enough. I'd love it if you made an "episodic" series out of this or some other pack like it. As others have said this would be fun, cause you look like you know what you are doing and this video is good quality. I'll sub ;) Edit: I watched your other video and I saw at the end that you plan to play a greg-centric modpack, something that I like bcs I will follow along more easily! Can't wait to see what you got in store for us!
I'd like to see what Gregtech modpacks people suggest, I already have a lot of Nomifactory experience so I might look into other packs like GTCP or Gregblock
@@Hecuba39 I have heard mixed things about Gregblock. It fills in a cool niche, but is grindy but also does embody Greg, so it's a slippery slope. GTNH is simultaneously god tier, torture and the best pack known to man. The big drawback is the *thousands* of hours it takes to beat. Nomifcatory is a perfect balance, and if you want a better experience I recommend CEu, as it ports lots of good multiblocks and features (from GTNH/GT5u etc.) and makes the endgame a lot more interesting as opposed to PA spam. There are other stuff, but i've heard good things about Technological Journey. Still need to try it myself, but I am yet to hear any true complaints about it.
@@Hecuba39 E2:E is a great pack to get into other stuff though, teaches a lot of different mods and pretty amazing. I keep doing E2:E with friends but they either complete it overnight without me (like, almost everything post-AE2 in 2 days with 3 people) or they quit just as I get the ME controller and the good stuff starts
the power is from the 4 large fusion reactors I have with 4 failsafes to make sure they are always active, more recently I just got a creative capacitor bank
Would cryo-stabalized fluxducts on all 6 sides of the dimension builder make a difference? (I can't recall if dimension builder is the right machine but whichever one hosts your dimension.) Basically, is the power input side limited and, if it is, were you feeding power to all sides? Did you lose anything important when you died?
I tried many things including that and it still didn't work as explained at the end of the video. and I didn't lose anything because I went into creative mode and got it back, if I didn't I would have lost full draconic armor, a wireless crafting terminal with an infinity card and a draconic staff of power.
it took me hours to kill the chaos guardian and that was with using tons of dislocators to recharge, it was by far the most painful fight I have ever done
@@Hecuba39 i got lucky and got advanced dislocator free from one of the first lootboxes but forgot soulbound existed and died -_- same happened to all my friends who played the server (who also had adv. dislocators because we accidently duped them xd) so we just gave up, we were considering making the thaumcraft pickaxe to get chaos shard without doing bossfight bc i think it mines thru bedrock but the poor guy doing all of thaumcraft for us just didnt have the energy after that lmao
I made that infinity catalyst with a really bad method that took 30 hours and the dimension builder wasn't even that good (and it killed me) so I regret making it.
In the case of molten metal to ingot, wouldn't it have been a little faster to use Tinkers I/O instead of the Ingot Former? Also don't forget about the Creative ME Cell
@@Hecuba39 i know but just a reminder to craft that too since last time i played e2e, it wasn't in the bragging rights page and i found out it existed like 2 weeks after creative vending lol
@@Hecuba39unless E2E is one of those packs that doesn’t let you craft blocks into ingots, you can make blocks instead of ingots which is significantly faster
tip for you, automate as much as possible, the most important things you need is UU-Matter and Applied Energistics autocrafting, once you get that and a form of ore generation, you can get the creative fluid tank
yes, I was able to get all of those singularities through exnihilo and in this video I already had 300,000+ of the ores required, the problem was things that couldn't be melted or made through exnihilo fast enough like redstone, glowstone, diamond, emerald, and certus quartz (spoilers for next time).

tinkers I/O is around the same speed and btw the creative ME cell needs the creative vending upgrade

ik thats what I was talking about, my setup makes 15 ingots/s instead of 9 ingots/s with the only problem being power usage

half the playthrough was learning since its my first large modpack and I did it by myself out of sheer dedication to completion
