@@acciosan You will fail, horribly, and come to understand that you need time in order to trully progress or else u just have a giant spagetti of machines
It's been a while since a video has consistently made me chuckle and had my full undivided attention (even when I should be working on a big project for school). Can't wait for the rest of this series (and more).
You have reached me, the right audience. Video is awesome, and instant like for the well-mannered speaking and not yelling, along with a modded playthrough recap. It feeds my IGBLON addiction, as he does not upload that frequently.
Although it isn't in they quest book, Integrated Dynamics is an incredibly useful mod in E2E. It is accessible quite early (as soon as you get chorus fruit) and gives you high-capacity, programmable, inter-dimensional logistics, as well as the World Item Importer used to create an armor-stripping mob farm. Combine that with an IE Arc Furnace, and you have an early source of ingots of a number of base metals as well as all of the Botania and Mystical Agriculture metals. For the void miner, connectors and Litherite are also quite cheap to make with UU-matter after you make the first one. This is the case with quite a number of the crazy recipies.
This is my favorite structure for videos. For lack of a better term I call them "scientific journeys", when the structure is about explaining intermediate challenges, assumptions that are proven incorrect, and lessons learned in order to overcome that challenge. The moments of "I thought this would work but it turns out I was totally wrong for X, Y, and Z reasons" are super interesting., and even more interesting are the solutions.
I love e2e, I’ve started it over and over again and always learn something new. I recently figured out nether ore gives more resources when crushed by what ever super early game means you have available, then bad part is being in the nether. Long story short, I got lots of new ideas that involve the nether and i have no idea if it’s optimal or not but I don’t care. I love learning all this new stuff
I said this in the description but I want to say it again here, all footage seen here and in part 2 are not the original video since I didn't record the playthrough, I spent hours recording reenactments that sometimes were left in creative mode and as one of you pointed out, I had JEI cheat mode still enabled. Those were on just to make it so that I wouldn't play the whole game again just for recordings but sometimes its obvious that I'm in creative.
It's so nice to see your progress and time you spent for the modpack. I myself never can never finish a modpack and I don't really find a modpack that is really fun for me, so I kinda gave up on modded minecraft, even tho I really love all the mods.
Thank you for showing actually how much time e2e takes, i thought there was something wrong with me and e2e isnt my thing. Turns out its just a huge time investment that i am hopefully willing to take :)) I love these types of recap videos and cant wait for the part 2 btw i can see your channel taking off already with this series, the vid is very well edited and fun to watch, all the best man!
I think I started E2E couple times but didn't get far and ended up joining GTNH playthrough. Which is much worse than E2E in time department other than the fact that people I was playing with already had AE2 despite having an incredibly scuffed everything else
@@imagine137 GTNH really isn't bad if you know what you are doing and aren't averse to mining for a while at first to be able to afford automation "at scale". As it's a lot like Factorio in some things, i.e. you will need a lot of basic resources for progress to not be painfully slow. But it's also more rewarding than Factorio, as getting to new energy tier means everything can be 2 (or 4 for some machines) times faster, so it's easier to scale vertically. And then your game consists of replacing miners, processing resources, finding out you're out of storage, finding out you're out of energy, finding out your machines need maintenance, trying to craft next tier of stuff and seeing it takes multiple hours, scaling up production, scaling up some random builds that ended up bottlenecking production, finding out you're out of resources and need to move miners again... And all of that with incredible amount of tools at your disposal, from nuclear power to tick-accelerated magical lava bottles. (I'm out of energy, send thorium (yes I know 8 everburn urns have same power output as a machine costing 18k thorium to make, I don't want to))
I have had issues with multiplayer on almost every mod pack, but almost all of them can be solved with a server Lan mod. It's mostly just a mod that changes how minecraft presents its ports, while also allowing port forwarding so you can play with people online by sharing your IP and port. The mod is called "LAN server properties", but there's other ones like "MC plug-n-play" and "Essential". That last one has to be downloaded on its own site btw
@@Hecuba39 I just wanted to mention it because I had struggled to get lan multiplayer working, and I don't want anyone else to in the future. Any of those mods are amazing to be able to play modded minecraft with family without having to set up a dedicated server
@@Hecuba39 I was looking into it because I’ve finished Stoneblock 1 & 2, and project ozone, but it’s quite a jump from a ‘grindy’ end game to expert mode, but somehow it still seems appealing! I’ve been thinking about it all day because of this video 😂
awesome video man - popped up in my recommended and was surprised to see it has like 600 views. Very entertaining, hopefully it reaches the right audience.
Great video! The editing is certainly top notch and I appreciate how you showed off the crafting as well. The only small personal issue that I had is that there wasn't enough actual gameplay. It was like 90% editing and 10% gameplay. Not that it made the video any less enjoyable mind you but it's just something to keep in mind.
wanna hear something crazy? i finished enigmatica 2 expert with little to no automation literally everything was handcrafted because i hate ae2 and automating it. i'd rather just make tons of something that i will need than automating it. the only thing i automated was the rainbow generator (though i actually cant say i automated it literally filled chests upon chest and hoppers with items until it started generating)
Your channel better blow up because like this video alone made me sub then i was like wow this is good content i bet they have a bunch... I cant wait for more and i love how you edit and show the recipes for the crafting

Well done. Nice editing. Feedback on what you should have done below. E2E allows you to use ex nihilio autosieves with fortune iii on them.
