Not original. The first one was replaced at 8k miles and the second one was replaced at 40-44k somewhere around there. This third trans has about 190k on it. I’ve swapped the fluid every 30k at Nissan

​​@@mkecarconnection3808 i just bought a 2025 altima s 8yr 100000 waranty. My 2013 chev 1500 had 88k and rusted out from shitty ziebart rust proofing and started leaking 6 different spots. The frame looked like the titanic. PO'ed about that. So change cvt filters and oil every 15k-20k? Mostly a city driver grocery getting driving. Just turned 54 my racing days are way behind me. Any maintnence tips are welcom. I've owned 5 honda motorcycles first japanese car. I saved this vid to hear back. Any guidence/tips I'll take seriously. Yes. You could go yourself and pull the airbag module out of one from a junk yard and figure out if it’s the updated one as well

That was on the list but I never got around to it and this was a side car. I’ll be trying the restore and protect from valvoline very soon

@@mkecarconnection3808 I wasn't wearing my glasses. Anyway, I did up top twice with berrymans and put both berrymans and MMO in the gas. I soaked the top from fri eve till sun night both times and then drove about 20 miles before oil change. Used rotella t5. If you do the top treatment I woul put a little MMO in each cyl and hand crank a few times to put some oil onto the cyl walls. Great video. i'll be watchimg thanks. BTW, was going through a quart every 300 miles. Now It uses about a half quart every 3000 miles.

@@Denver1976Man that’s great to here it worked!! Yeah I planned on getting around to it but decided to try the restore and protect oil route. It’s just hard since it’s a second car and only driven here or there but I’ll put more miles on it to knock out the video for you guys

Yeah prices dropped a good amount and are holding steady on the used market which is great. If you live in a warm climate and don’t need AWD, a standard range might also be a good option and they are cheaper. Also if you find one under 25k you might qualify for the federal tax credit of $4000

My daily is a g20 330 and when it comes to back road carving, the e90 is more enjoyable. Sure the g20 is quicker and punchier, but the e90 feels like it was made to hug the road and take corners as you.ake the most of its power

You could replace just the bolt. I did the whole bracket because it was cheap but also rusted like no other!

The one I bought had been in an accident that totaled it out. It was bought and thrown together and sold to me. The CARFAX showered it had a minor unreported accident and the dealer told me it was a fender bender under a grand. No it was totaled and whoever totaled it didn’t go through insurance. I didn’t realize something was wrong until that same night when I went to plug it in to supercharge it and all these errors popped up. The day I had this car in the video, Tesla wrote me up a 5k initial estimate to fix what they could see. A Tesla certified collision center also looked at it and said the frame was damaged and a bunch of other issues. The combined total for initial estimate was 16k. While I’m sure there are shops that won’t mess around and sell junk, I would only buy a used one from Tesla after this experience. Their cars are barely any more expensive versus buying it from a random dealer, and I’ve noticed they throw in acceleration boost on all the long ranges near me which is cool!

@ Ahhh okay. Id just say go to a well rated shop. Call them in advance and have them charge the car for you is advance so can get a feel for what the estimated range it. Keep an eye on panel gaps, interior trim and, tires and check the screen to see what kind of software the car has. Some have acceleration boost which is super nice!

Was it Carmax that you are dealt with? Just asking because I am shopping around.

@@ED-od6hy no. I like CarMax tbh. Never had an issue with them. Some people don’t like the no haggle pricing but I don’t notice their cars being priced any higher than other dealers.

Not defending the sellers but if the yard wants EBay prices, they should sell on Ebay. There’s more risk selling on Ebay, Comparing the two things is apples and oranges.
