    Brother thank you. You just made my decision A WHOLE lot easier to make. Bye Tesla- Hello Beamer (e). The video was extremely helpful.

      Just make sure you get a 2020 or newer as i think that’s when they gave you a little bit bigger battery 12kwh vs 9.2kwh! Also please make sure it has the adaptive cruise. It’s a joy to use.

      @mkecarconnection3808 What's your opinion on the maintenance and reliability of this BMW. I'm in the market for a new family sedan that's a hybrid and this is definitely on my radar but the indoctrination of BMW being not so reliable and overly expensive to upkeep it real lol 😅 I've been hearing their reliability is actually 3rd under toyota now. Did they get new engineers?

      @@christiancaicedo6126 That's exactly what I wanna figure out...How reliable are they? because you can buy them used 30k miles for $25k-30k

      @@mkecarconnection3808 agreed. my 2024 530e doesn't have it and it is still good but not unbelievable

      @@christiancaicedo6126 I think they’re pretty reliable now compared to what they used to be. I expect to run my current 2021 330 up to 200k miles before I get rid of it which should be within the next four years

    Would be nice to compare full charged battery with empty battery mpg while driving only hybrid mode, lets say 200 km each test.

    I've got one with the smaller battery. If I have heating off I cam get around 23miles ev mode sometimes more. That's all city driving

    Bro, what’s the city consumption in hybrid mode without charging?
    Please

    Nice video. I'm debating between 2024 model 3 or this one.

    Turn off your heating/aircon off completely so all lights go off. Watch how range jumps massively

      Yeah I just wanted to drive it like a normal person does versus trying to eke out every mile! I personally would be shutting everything off haha

    What factors would decrease the range on pure electric?

    • @mkecarconnection3808
      @mkecarconnection3808  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Normally cold weather has a decent affect. I've observed about 30% range loss in my dad's prius plug in. Same thing applies to most pure electrics as well. I know tesla added a heat pump to their 2021s and newer to combat this range loss

    I bought my 2022 plug in hybrid a day ago. I fully charged it overnight and when I checked the range of the car the next morning it only showed me 14miles of range on a battery that’s fully charged. Should I go to the dealer and ask them about it or is there something I’m doing wrong?

    • @mkecarconnection3808
      @mkecarconnection3808  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The number adjusts based on the driving style of the last few miles. It’s the same with mpg and distance till empty. Charge it full, clear the trip computer and drive it till it empty’s and check the trip computer! The rental I had showed 16 miles of range but after I kept driving it, it adjusted to mid 20s

    You mentioned you click on the charge button what happens then? And how long does it take to charge if you use it only without charging it via plug.

    • @mkecarconnection3808
      @mkecarconnection3808  หลายเดือนก่อน

      It takes a while but it will force the engine to stay on at a little higher rpm than usual to charge the battery. I drive 90 miles and it filled up the battery but it does dip your mpg
