Excellent video, thank you. I have a Walmart push mower (Hyper-Tough) with one of these plastic carburetors. Some people complain about them, but actually, I really like these and think they are easier to work on than others. I never considered popping out the ball bearing. Good tip about using WD-40 as opposed to carburetor cleaner. For the initial wash-down, I generally just use some older gasoline.

Hello this engine have a pre-heaters? For the fuel

If you have big old fat hands, remove 3 screws (torx) from the wheel well liner and you can easily reach and see (left side - drivers side in USA 🇺🇸) other side is easier to reach.

The thing with waxoyl is that it must be warmed. I heat my compressor sprayer steel container with butane torch and then spray it. I do it every 1-2 mnutes to keep it super hot. It sticks and doesn't flake. It says soft. I think it's good but mage there are better products that don't requre so much faf.

Just to add if anyone is doing this, the little torq screws under the bumper are not T10. They are T15's so be careful as they will round off and they're only plastic. I noticed when trying a T10 it had a lot of play so I tried a T15 and it was a much tighter fit.

Always leave your eye protection on even when just doing the painting part as bits of rust can still get in your eyes it can scratch your eye membrane's as rust bits are very sharp use your noggin always 💯💪👍🤔

Great video You can heat the wax oil by filling your sink with hot water and leaving the can laying flat in the hot water for 10 mins far safer than the enclosed can in a flame which could explode 🤔👍💪💯

Hi - was there ever a solution to the problem that one of your commenters made - @Dan-qt7kq 7 months ago, where his coolant was being decanted out of the overflow on the reservoir bottle and being dumped on the ground once engine had stopped. I have same issue on my Transit Custom - 2016 Euro 6 engine. I bought it at only 44k on clock, and spent 3 months converting to a beautiful campervan. Only at 60k now, i year later. FSH, one previous owner, serviced regularly by Ford dealers. In April this year it started to display engine overheating - so I stopped immediately - coolant dumped out of reservoir overflow. Same happened intermittently 4 times now. Been to 3 different garages for diagnostics, all inconclusive. They are recommending replacing with reconditioned engine as this may be cheaper option than going through lots of trial fixes, like EGR cooler, head gasket etc. I think crazy option as only done 60k. Was badly 'advised' to put to Ford Dealer...it is in there now, they diagnosed fault on temperature sensor no. 2 (£13) and did some other diagnostics...have invoiced me for £1100 for this! The sensor did not fix the coolant fault. Now they say radiator blocked and want to replace full cooling system for £3.5k ! I just don't have this. Can't find a garage to take my van on. Desperate for some advice. Can you help ?

I've got a 2018 skoda octavia vrs tdi dsg, 18 months ago my matrix became blocked it wasn't the silica bag as I removed the expansion tank and cut it open and the bag was fine when the matrix was cut open it seems its casting sand from the block , and 18 months down the line it's become blocked again so I'm wanting to do a full flush how do I do this please as you have only covered the radiator thank you

Good idea but I can't understand why you didn't draw the copper coil through the lid instead of drilling holes in the keg and used the original connectors for water. Also I would have kept the keg standing and used the existing relief valve outlet or maybe replaced it for one with an outlet. I'm a bit concerned about using copper like this due to galvanic currents and I would have used PEX to isolate it as much as possible instead of copper. Instead of using engine cooling liquid (requires drawing the cooling liquid all over the van) an idea could be using an extra outlet of an existing diesel heater with a cheap heat exchanger and a small circulation pump to heat up the water and if using solar panels an immersion heater for left over solar power (maybe 300W depending on solar power available) could be a good thing to use for keeping the water hot or for heating when batteries are full (by checking battery voltage) even though it takes some time.

I wanted to ask you why some tutorials I've seen recommend locking the gearbox with the lever located near the selector? and they advise against filling with new oil from the level cap, but from the reverse gear sensor cap? Thank you I'll could get them wrong but I think I've understood this.

I notice that you have no plastic engine cover to remove. My 1995 Duetto has one that is a pain to remove before gaining access to underside!
