  • In this video we continue preparing the project bike for its MOT! We look at why the speedo doesn't work, why the odometer counts backwards and why the front forks get stuck. Stay tuned to find out if we have done enough to get it through the MOT test! Thanks for watching and hope to see you next time.

A nice enduro front mudguard would look great on it,👍

I think so too, it will need some mudguards for sure 😁👍🏼

Great work as always! 👍 I thought that the caliper is from the same fork and it would be a piece of cake to change it to other side, but the caliper is from another fork and there is an additional mounting bracket needed..

Thanks Al, it wasn’t too bad to reverse the calliper. Took some thinking about but got there in the end 😊

    Blimey......and a professional company customized the bike, I think they'd be a a good company to give a miss😊
Look forward to next installment of both bike and camper.

I was quite surprised. I always expect to find a few issues but not something as obviously wrong as the Speedo not working. I’m surprised it was sold like that so maybe it’s been tampered with after the custom job 🤔 thanks mate 😊

I've said it before, for a young lad you're very competent. The van conversion was a joy to watch and the way you work on your bike shows you're switched on to that too. Great video. Thank you for uploading :)

Thanks mate, I don’t see why not if it’s faulty anyway. The MOT history says the bikes original mileage 👍🏼 I could wind it to 27,000miles but might take a while 😂

Nice work i love a bit of diy garage engineering 😀 well done mate 👍 my only 2 cents is the front brake looked spongy in the video but thats me guessing mate and that plate for the caliper looks a bit thin for my liking im sure its solid enough though and its not a heavy bike so probably be ok tbh. Awesome as always 👏

Thanks mate 😊 you’re probably right it is a slight but spongy still. Will tie the brake lever overnight to try and get any air out. I think it’s solid enough, maybe 3mm aluminium plate.

Do you know what forks they are? They do look like stomp forks?

Hi, yes they are pit bike forks :)
