The small bike that makes the journey is superior to big bike that sits in the garage. Did it on a 1972 Suzuki GT550 (2 stroke/3cylinder) back in the day. It was during a time when it was considered easier to make that trip on a 350 Honda than an HD. Love my HD’s I have owned but back then it was true. It’s never been about the bike.

Shadow 750 Aero isn't the poor man's Harley, it's the SMART man's Harley. Comfortable, looks great, does anything you'll ever ask it to do and about as un-killable as an anvil.

Dude, this is SPECTACULAR. So many unforgettable moments; the lightning storm, the triumphant roar into the Arctic ocean, crossing Atigun Pass in those conditions... This video deserves a million views. The selfie stick supercut was a great touch. Perfect soundtrack, too. I hope we get to see more videos from you sometime.

I have this exact same bike. My father-in-law gave it to me and I flew out to Florida to pick it up and ride it back to Arizona. It was a fun trip!

I really dig the synth into riffs at the end of the video. Nice music. That shadow is sweet. I have a vtx. I love it. I’ve only ridden around a few hours at a time. I look forward to cross country riding, after I have more experience. This will be my 2nd year.

Great video, great scenery, great routes, If I were to count the route there, and back I've had several rides that amounted to 5,000 miles maybe more. The best rides I had was on an old Yamaha Virago, it was loaded down like yours, like a Gypsy wagon. I now have 4 BMW's the distance I travel each year on the 4 combined is a tiny fraction of the riding I did on the old Yamaha..

Amazing that people comment as though it is a feat to ride a 750 cc bike that far. I have never had a bike that big. Once rode a 250 Yamaha dirt bike from PA to as far north as the roads went in Ontario. Then southwest to Minneapolis MN, then up to N Wisconsin. Camping all the way. Ended up staying there seven years. I once knew a crusty old guy who owned a warehouse full of vintage new in box Harleys and Indians. Would not sell a one. He did a round trip from PA to the west coast and back on a 90cc. He said he was not in a hurry.

I40 out of KINGMAN can be a bitch. I did that on a Goldwing when it was blowing out of the South and tipping trailers over.. I felt like I had the bike laid over all day. I was worn out when it was lunchtime. Another trip to El Paso from Shreveport we hit horrible wind from Odessa to after Pueblo on another Goldwing, with a passenger that time. Same deal. Stopped after 4 hours and Needed a nap for sure.
