- Riding a Harley in a lightning storm AGAIN! So I got myself in the situation again where I had to ride through a lightning storm on a Harley Sportster 1200 Custom again. I did not want to be out there in Washington like this but had to make the drive to a motel. I didn't die which was the most important thing but got a little eccentric.

Bro I just got back from a 40 minute ride in a HEAVY Florida Thunderstorm and I must say it was the scariest ride of my riding career thus far but also taught me that I could do it if I needed to. You have to be a different type of crazy to do what I just did WILLINGLY

When I moved to Tulsa I rode a kawasaki 250 KLR from Louisiana in a thunderstorm. I now ride a Suzuki Boulevard year round and have riden in all kinds of weather including winter conditions and heavy rain. The only thing I won't ride in is ice

Fuck yah straight ahead!! Fished through some of the worst storms but some of the best fishing ever
Been there and done it, I don't recommend it to anyone. I rode right into the heart of the storm was no missing it. Was the most fked up ride I ever rode, no jacket, short sleeve shirt, branches falling off trees everywhere, puddles everywhere, was complete hell. I know the people behind me thought I was crazy as hell. I was freezing, soaking wet, it just sucked man. No idiot tried to pass me or anything they kept their distance but had to it was raining so hard ya couldn't see, wind was crazy and the highway was flooded in places. Was no place to pull over to get out of it or I would have. I rode 18 miles in the shit. My shades kept fogging up etc. Didn't have a helmet on I was actually a nervous wreck but kept calm because I had too. Got home and the shit cleared up. I tried to beat it going home lol my buddy told me to hang out until it passed I thought I would beat it n didn't.
