Fighting in a Suit of Armor! The Armored Combat League. So while being here in CA I decided to go after one of my goals and met up with the ACLW group called the Sacramento Siege and they introduced me to an incredible sport. It's called the Armored Combat League Worldwide and it is incredible. I've never felt such an adrenaline rush, besides the arctic circle and the lighting storm. When i was a kid I had a step dad who did stuff like this. Real armor they made themselves, but instead of real weapons, they made fullsized stand in weapons out of Wood and Ratanboo.
They had rules where if you got struck with a "cutting edge" of someone's blade you'd have to put your arm behind your back and stuff.

I've heard of that, and there was a salesman at the dealership I worked at that's did it. They used wood as well. Also larping is quite similar, but" softer" version of that.

I liked it for what it was. It's none for being more violent and less technical

Cool stuff, I have a collection of swords and stuff used for this kind of activity, minus the armor.
