- Cross Country Road Trip on Harley Sportster 1200. Well here is my highlight video of my second cross country trip! I'm riding a Harley Davidson 2017 Sportster Custom 1200. The Trip entailed 2 countries 22 states and 7000 miles. I decided to end the trip in CA and not return to FL like I originally intended mainly because I'm gonna be heading to CA in a few months after my EAOS. I wore a utility kilt for most of the journey and it sure was worth it. Saw a lof of the country like the salt flats in Utah, Yellowstone in Wyoming, and the Lobster in Maine. This cross country road trip on my Sportster was definitely worth it. I spent around $2000 on the trip in total and I'll make some videos about how I did the trip and where I went. My vlogs will be coming right after this video and I'll try to crank them out as fast as I can! The song is a cover of Wake me up by Avicci done by Cole Rolland. I miss my Sporty, I use to take it on long trips too...New Jersey to Key west and back was one of my best trips...I loved that bike and it loved me.
Glad to come across this video, made me smile ear to ear. I just bought myself a 1200 & I’m stoked to ride. Plan to do things like this with my husband since he has a road king. Awesome job on editing the video

This was fucking killer. I completed a 3000 mile trip on my 883 this summer and filmed it as well. It was a bit longer than yours but I really enjoy the short but sweet version that your created. It got me feeling like I wanted to make another bike trip

I really want to do a criss country on my sporty it's a 1200 putting on large saddlebags and already have a windshield it's a compact but works well what would you recommend or what should I look out for?

I'm taking a small road trip for the first time on a sportster 1200 only going 130 ish miles, but tank is only 3.2. and I'm two upping any idea how far I should get on a single tank? with estimated 350 pounds on the bike? I'm hoping it'll at least do 100 miles before needing gas.
