I agree with the clothes, part of the whole aesthetic is that balance and yeah, tasteful sort of daring outfits, better than rofl guts hanging out I've heard of Nioh (mostly from news about the sequel) and I feel this is more pain ahead so I'll check it out, or both of them rather! I like anything that starts you as the underdog and the enemy design looks truly special in places! Rofl oh that lantern. There's a lot of this that gets edited and switched around for laughs. But that wasn't, that really happened and I shut the game off I couldn't believe it haha. And I can't believe you can't have hotkeys on controller, that's crazy. And hey there's nothing wrong with sticking with the controller. I think on both ends people expect someone to be able to just start using a keyboard/controller, but that doesn't work ya know? I can't just suddenly plug in a controller and get good, I've tried it doesn't work. So I respect you sticking to your guns. (AW don't even get me started on that dragon bit) LONG REPLY sorry haha. I feel awful saying this because I have been enjoying PoE 2, but not as much as I did Grim Dawn. It's early days and I've really been suffering on Sorcerer so maybe I'll change my mind. great video as expected, very much enjoy the way you narrate these. great christmas gift. and yeah BBI to me always required grinding with xp boosts, 4x periapts of the appropriate damage booster and sometimes throwblasts, and spamming the shit out of potent greenwarish and large mushrooms to keep spamming my skills. 😂 edit: i tend to just run past the magic using dragonkin if i'm a sorcerer lmao. edit 2: and as ranger i had my pawns help me carry in a couple hundred bomb arrows along with the periapts and flurry spamming the everloving shit out of the BBI Bosses. edit 3: indeed hope to see you tackle DD2 sometime, preferably a bit sooner than a decade tho haha. it sure is another Dragon's Dogma in many ways, with its own limitations and flaws, and the fanbase seems more devided on it than DD1. idk which of the 2 I'd say I prefer, but personally I had tons of fun in both. using skills, getting cool looking gear, etc. id definitely encourage you to feel free to google certain things if you're unsure, as there's still a chance of "well how was i supposed to know that?" screwing you over on occasion lol.

@reallylatereviews this is how i actually enjoy the game the most. 💀 My only difference with others i guess, is that I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE that it makes the game objectively worse for most people. But personally ... doing an escort quest ... chillin with my bois and fighting togheter to the goblin fort ... is kinda nice. No need for rewards ... rhe vibe is enough ... If the map had more stuff and was bigger, I'd wager more people would love that DD2 tried solving it by spamming you with monster encounters, but that has its own problems, and doesn't fix the issue.

Aw no maaaaaan. I can understand this though. There is a lot going on just on the base systems. If there is any way I can help get you started if you want to get back in, let me know. Also there are loads of builds for creating characters that just make any combat a breeze on any difficulty (search crpgbro) - that might not be what you want but it is one possibility. Hey man you make a good point here. When I write the scripts for these I don't do it in order, and I try to keep them concise, this means stuff does fall through the cracks when the scripts are this long. I realise now I just vaguely said "some classes are base game, some from expansions" and yeah I really shoulda said "Necromancer is an expansion class" or something. I miss the old style of cheats too. There really is a load of neat stuff in Arx, I learned I missed so much after I finished playing, but the exploding chickens is new to me haha! I'm hopeful for Monomyth and hopeful that games like Arx and Dark Messiah make a return. Great games. Oh, and as for Lord Inut, I messed that quest up by eating all the celery I think lol Thank you! I tell ya I'm switching up for Halo 2, mostly for two reasons. I have a personal desire to see the remaster for Halo 2, and by and large everyone says they did a great job remastering 2, if not the original. I will do more extensive side by side testing and record it however. I didn't really bother that much for Combat Evolved because I didn't like the remaster myself, and everyone said it's bad so I figured nobody will want to see it anyway haha. I have also seen little bits of those cutscenes without dialogue and they do look fantastic. (Thank you again!)

I'm gonna reply to your comments all here but first let me say thank you so much for watching and commenting on my video! I appreciate it, so thank you! I really feel like they put time into the camera, and after reading what you said it's evident they thought about the level design's impact on the camera. It's why I hated the RE8 DLC, the levels were not designed for a third person perspective. I think you're right, more Ashley was probably planned and they ran out of time, or maybe money, as this happened for Dragons Dogma another Capcom game. I too missed the atmosphere in the 3rd section, it had it's moments but it wasn't as eerie. Although I can't even grumble because that fits the more action orientated segments. RE4's look is, yeah ludicrously good haha! For the time, it's just nuts the attention to detail. Lastly: Yeah I love Ashley she's a joy to run around with. Despite the segments where the game is actively trying to kill you both, she's a perfect addition, an additional concern/challenge but rarely if ever a headache. Also yeah the whole game is built around finding her rofl, very true. Thank you again!

A big issue with the island is reusing what felt like the eerie “castle theme” music. They should’ve used a new soundtrack cue, besides just the new action cue on the island. This would give the island a bit more of its own feel. Plus, great as that creepy castle music is, it’s overused by recycling for the island.

@@FreakinOutOnAudio This is actually very true and I must admit, I didn't give it much thought, probably because it was eclisped by that action theme they introduced. The use of the creepy castle music is really noticeable though, I think it's the first piece you hear on the island as well.
