When I saw the title I realized that if I paid off my house and car I could probably live on less than $2000 a month….Recently moved away from Dallas area because it was too expensive there ( and too hot for this old lady)….my rent there was $2000 a month for a small, old house, and the utilities were high! Gas and food were high too. Where I’m at now expenses are better, but now am planning on paying off the house and car. Property taxes? My property taxes currently on a nice size house, are $ 950 a year!
