I live in Oklahoma City and have been here my entire life. In the 90's going to Frontier City was the best. In the center main building i loved playing the arcade cabinets. Also their Halloween fest was always really cool and staff would dress up as movie monsters and walk around
I've always loved going to frontier city used to go almost every year with my family and it was always the best (also quick fun fact rolling thunder used to be called the brain drain)
They need to bring back the Wild West Gunfight from way back in the day. There used to be a train towards the back of the park and “Bandits” would rod the train. Thought I’d add that the gunfight cowboys used to roam around randomly and a gunfight could happen without a moment’s notice
Yeah I agree! they haven't updated much since I was a kid in the 90s. With the exception of steel lasso... All the best rides from the 90s are still the best rides at frontier City in 2024. Log Ride ..Silver Bullet.. Wild Cat and diamondback. I'm shocked that all of those rides are still running today. It is cool taking my kids to the same amusement park that I always went to. But I agree with the guy in this video, it's a great family park if you are in the area. It's really a decent Park if every ride is open when you go. Seems like the diamondback is only open once every 10 times that I go there
lol, the tin lizzy looks busted these days. When I was a kid in the late 80's it was fun to drive them around since the steering worked and I was like 8
@@ComicBookFanBoyPrime yes unfortunately it was closed on my visit and we do not do water rides as I hate getting wet so we skipped that one! Thank you for watching though!
It certainly hits the mark for charming cute family park. Probably not big enough for large thrill seekers, certainly larger than a small kiddie park. I really enjoyed my time.
@@Bigguyrides nope I honestly would rate it the worst of the rides I went on when I was there last It was kind of a scam And also the Diamondback is one of the best rides I highly recommend riding it next time if it’s open
Frontier City is really nothing more then a slightly better themed parking lot carnival, and that's unfortunate because it could be compatible to Silver Dollar City with a little bit of investment.
Thank you for visiting my local park
And thank you for watching!

Thanks for watching! I didn’t know it was called brain drain - same name as that ride at elitch gardens in Denver too 😂😂!

Yeah they have a train but it wasn’t running on my visit :(
Frontier City just hasn't invested in their rides or park experience over the years and that has lead to seriously diminished crowds.
Yeah the park has potential and decent vibe and space if they would put some more investment into it they could make it a lot nicer !

That ride does NOT drive straight anymore 😂😂
He did not mention the log ride. My personal favorite at that park.

Frontier city is the best
The Car ride is always the same it wasn’t broken
Oh really?! I thought it was just my car!

Seats 2,5, and 8 are the smoothest on the Wildcat because they are non wheel seats.
That’s awesome info thank you for sharing!

Thanks for watching and I agree some more investment into this park would be awesome!
