As someone who has come here 15+ times, if you don’t focus on the actual ride experiences but more as a place to have fun with friends, it’s genuinely a blast. In my opinion sidewinder is the only ride here that’s better than “meh.” It’s really too bad it doesn’t open reliably, I could literally ride it all day. In fact I have.
@@IllegalPizza777 I agree, I grew up in Nebraska so came to Denver often, remember the old park even. It has gone downhill a lot in recent years, rumors have it the new SF Corp may be eyeing it for or after relocation, which I think would be beneficial
Growing up my family would always get a season pass and go twice a week for the entire summer. This place is so nostalgic for me, Especially the kids place where you shoot foam balls at each other. That was the best! Probably the most disease ridden place too haha
I do believe this is the last season it’s up and running. They’re clearing out the entire land for some new building development of apartments which starts next year.
Yes I’ve heard this which is sad. I’ve also heard the park is looking to move possibly to another city on the outskirts of Denver. We will see what happens
They said that 2020 was the FINAL year Elitch's was gonna be open. Look at how that ended up. "ALL RIDERS MUST BE 6 FEET APART! WEAR YOUR MASK! KEEP YOUR MOUTH CLOSED ON ALL RIDES. OR TRY YOUR BEST NOT TO BREATHE!"
