I bought the same pen with a fine nib about an hour ago and have got it home, flushed out the blue Lamy testing ink and filled it with Teranishi Antique Black. It is a very smooth nib indeed with an excellent flow. I looked at it through a X25 loupe and it is very well-made. I hesitated to buy a Safari or al-Star for years as they just seemed too basic. This LX has solved that problem. I know the differences a small, but for me they are crucial. I am very pleased with it. I get really annoyed by people who get outraged at paying an extra $15 for this.. I even read one "complaint" from a guy about a $5,000 camera which he "would have bought, except [he] refused to buy it because [he] would need to spend $35 on an additional battery. Some people are just looking fror reasons to be outraged. A small change in manufacturing can drastically increaase the time or money it takes to make a product. But I suppose some people don't care about that. Thanks for the low-key review Ru. Much appreaciated.

really soothing voice

You know, playing video games, specially strategy ones, is a really good reason to crack open a new fancy notebook and dedicate it for gaming. I'm hoping to get back into gaming this Christmas. I've been kind of in a slump, but I'm hoping to shake it off next month. My gaming notebook is not fancy, but I do like using one still.

As someone to whom xmas is just another day, it was a pleasure to watch this video - see all the pretty stickers (I want all the cats!!) & listen to someone who is genuinely happy & looking forward to some simple family stuff 💓💚

Tomorrow is our Thanksgiving I'm really looking forward to eating turkey and pumpkin cheesecake and spending time with my crazy room mates cant wait ... and for christmas I will probably travel to the next county to see my best friend for Christmas din at Pollys pies we had that last year and it was delicious :)

I always do the setup of my new planners between Christmas and New Year. I really love the cat Xmas washi and ordered it nearly immediately! 🤣

It made me smile to see the TAN for your line up again. I admire how you are able to stay on top of trackers because I always ambitiously strive to do it but cannot for the life of me achieve consistency the moment life gets busier. I usually fall off around april and have blips of tracking the rest of the year. 😮‍💨

I think it would help to have a clip to keep your weeks open while you decorate. I love the cat theme❤ I chose the cover Through the Purple Night specifically because it had the cat

Very calming and cozy setup. So cute to have the cats on the top of the yearly spread! I need to set mine up as well, although I don’t start my weeks until the actual new year. I cover up all the extra dated pages.

I love your language learning planner! The cats throughout are sooo cute! I agree with the to do lists. In my planner currently I have a to do list but it’s more for reminders of things to do but in the weekly part it’s stuff I actually get done and it might not be from my to do list. I find that works better for me than writing a list to do for that day. I basically go by what mood I’m in that day on what can get done. Love your video and just subbed!🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾

I've been using a Hobonichi Cousin (avec) for both planning and journaling so far, switching to Papertess designs A5 for journaling and adding a Kinbor weeks for work planning and notes to see how I like that compared to the notebook I use now.

Not me thinking I missed a cat edition of the Hobonichi weeks.

I found your channel last year and you actually introduced me to the hobonichi weeks and I have not looked back! I already have my next one for 2025 🥰 love your videos!!

I'm adding a language planner next year too, probably a Hobo weeks. Umming and ahhing about a language journal as well but it depends how much time I have! I'm in the same boat as you - I did German and Russian at university, but they're so rusty now. I need to freshen them up and keep up with the fifty million other languages I find myself dabbling with!

You can try and remove the sticky sticker residue (words lol) with an eraser or the rubber on an erasable pen (like the Fixion), those usually work great for me. That's a gorgeous sticker, is live to know where it's from 😊
