Lovely choices, I'm not really into orange but I really like the look of that Orange Indien. Greys are always my favourite so Kiri-Same is lovely. That green is gorgeous.
A very good looking palette! Good choices. That green looks so interesting. Thanks for sharing. One of my first inks in this journey across the land of fountain pen was Orange Indien, and it still has in my top. 😅
such a lovely assortment of colors. i haven’t tried a single one of your top five. pilot iroshizuku is definitely my favorite ink brand with take-sumi being my favorite. having a black ink as my favorite surprised me like you were surprised by some of your favorites. enjoy your journey for the next six months! 😊
Thank you! I think that's the fun part about trying things out, you never quite know what inks might be a delightful surprise. I have a sample of Take-sumi in my drawer, and am now very curious to try it! 😊
I love it when you say J. Herbin like a proper French man. 😅 I've been into brown inks, but orange inks have piqued my interest as of late. Thanks for showing the orange one from JH...might need to pick that one up. Curious if you've tried the Pilot Iroshizuku Yu-Yake. That was the orange ink that made me want to delve into this color after all the browns I've collected.
Hahaha, that made my day! I have tried Yu-yake and I love it (but couldn't pick it because I didn't use it in the first six months of the year). Another orange I've found intriguing is Robert Oster Tangerine. Unsaturated with nice shading. But I know not everyone is into unsaturated inks. Do you have a favourite brown ink? I know for sure I will be into brown inks again once autumn comes around!
@@ruonpaper My fave is the Montblanc Toffee Brown. It's a rather wet ink but the flow is incredible in a TWSBI Eco! I will definitely look into Robert Oster in the color you mentioned. Thanks! I hope you do a feature on several J. Herbin's simply because I can listen to you say that name all day in that accent. 😂
I can no longer count the amount of times I've seen someone rave about a beautiful ink and thinking "Oh, I've had a sample of that for ages, why have I not inked this up??" 😅
The green and grey are fantastics. Thanks for sharing.
Unfortunately I heard that Pilot is discontinuing the grey ink. Such a shame, it's a perfect grey!
Finally, someone who doesn't butcher the French and Japanese names.

I'm quite particular about orange inks but this one hit the spot! And yay for grey inks!! 🖤

Uhhh i wish i could get my hands on that green ink! It is lovely
I would love for all the inks in that series to be more widely available. Maybe one day 🤞🏻

I have a tiny bottle that Orange Indien and have not even tried it! Must get to it. Still want a bottle of Three Kings.
