I am alone Sister. I am so truly alone in this dunya. I have been abandoned by the ummah. I do the best I can on my own but it would be so much easier if I had someone to study with. Sister It’s been 27 yrs I’ve put up with a narcissist husband and his family. He’s the most pious man, but terrible to me. He yells at any opportunity if he can’t deal with a situation or looks bad in an argument. Its his coping mechanism, he sees red and doesn’t care about the consequences. Doesn’t apologise. He brings out the worst in me when he shouts and yells. He’d shout at his mum & sisters, now they don’t want to know him. He’s had therapy but he still can’t help yelling. I’ve asked him to leave now because my mental & physical health is deteriorating because of it. I’ve tried so hard to resist as I know he’d be alone because of it. He’s tried hard to change, but it’s done too much damage to my children and me. My children say nothing to him, they don’t get involved but I can’t tolerate it anymore. I’m really tired. Sick of his intimidation and yelling. He’s tried so hard to beat me down but I won’t allow it, his dad did the same to his mother. I’ve let go, he’s not worth saving
