It is wrong to claim 75% comes from lower body movements if the thrower is not a tall guy
That’s a great point. Although I’d say in general it would still be a greater % of the lower body contributing regardless of height, in fact maybe even more lower body!

What about the angle of torso and hand placement? I think you’re a little high and angled? Why not get lower and more horizontal? I thought that what this video was about

The big question for me is how the hell people train legs and run multiple times a week. It kills me ha
@@nathanclegg6717 ha I know right! It’s a fine balance between the two and in my experience some have to do very little leg volume to not interfere whilst others can do a lot more and even two leg sessions per week! Usually it’s those younger ones that get away with this tho

Hey mate. Love your content, had a question for you if you don’t mind, Would you classify playing basketball as aerobic or anaerobic fitness? I can maintain conversation majority of the time
Basketball is complex, the aerobic system supplies long energy demand for the duration of the sport so must be trained. However basketball is one of the fastest team sports characterized by sprints, change of direction, dunks, rebounds, and blocks so this means training speed, strength, and power are all also required for performance...So both energy systems impact performance.
Oh come on...how "technical" can it get? I mean, it's a sled push right, we've all dealt with some pushing at some stage in our daily lives, haven't we? It's one of those basic human movement patterns that don't require any learning curve.

Nice video. Could you make a sciences based video on how to minimise adverse impact of endurance running on muscle growth/hypertrophy ? I think it’s a relevant topic in this trend of hybrid training and for people looking at doing marathon & ultra but still not wanting to sacrifice gym gains

Love it, but that wasn't a triceps dip. That was a chest dip.
Same same but different, these small differences do not matter much when strength training. We are focusing on strength, power and endurance transfer

Why not just practice doing the actual exercises or are these in addition to that? My gym has a sled, a skierg, sand bags, etc. I can do it all at my gym.
In addition to the main exercises. Generally, to improve each exercise it will mean having to either develop overall absolute and relative strength, strength endurance and technique, training just the actual exercises is not going to help develop all of these qualities.
