After spending the first 18 years of my life as a Muslim, I left Islam and started a new journey to discover the meaning of life through a secular lens.
Whether you call it spirituality or anything else, we're all seeking answers to life's big (and perhaps unanswerable) questions. On this channel, I'll be exploring the many ways religious and secular life philosophies have attempted to answer those questions, and sharing which ones resonate with me the most.

Why are Muslims Helping Trump Win the Election?
I never thought Donald Trump, a reality show buffoon with a lame catchphrase, would become president of the US. But ever since his shock triumph over Hillary Clinton in 2016, nothing surprises me when it comes to the subject of Trump anymore. That's why I wasn't particularly stunned to find out that a Muslim mayor in Michigan is endorsing Trump for president. In the absurd self-serving realm of American politics, any alliance and betrayal of logic is possible. In this video, I delve into the reasons for this Muslim mayor's endorsement and why it will almost definitely backfire, whether or not Trump ends up winning the election in November.

Coming exactly one year after Hamas's Oct 7 attack on Israel, this video was inspired by the most important question about Israel-Palestine: what is the solution for peace? Today, this question is particularly crucial as violence and the killing of civilians spreads to Lebanon, with Hezbollah and Iran now also involved. In the past year, I've thought a lot about this question and what's stoppin...

Celebrating Dissent 2024 recap: If you're Ex-Muslim, you're not alone!

I just went to Norway for Celebrating Dissent, a conference that brought together Ex-Muslims from all over the world. It was a great opportunity to learn and meet so many other Ex-Muslims who've been at this much longer than me: Maryam Namazie, Ali Rizvi, Ibn Warraq, Zara Kay and many more. Friends of the channel Apostate Aladdin and Haram Doodles were also there! So here's a quick recap for th...
Would you marry this Muslim man?
มุมมอง 2K3 หลายเดือนก่อน
Earlier this year, I stumbled upon a Reddit post featuring screenshots of a Muslim man's profile on Muzz, a popular Muslim dating and marriage app. And wow, this Muslim outlined a staggering list of 26(!) conditions he demands from his future wife. Consider this an absurd and tragic case study of how Islamic teachings can harm many Muslims and distort their perception of the world. The original...
Did God save Trump? An Ex-Muslim's Perspective

Before Joe Biden shocked the world by announcing that he wouldn’t run for re-election as US President, the biggest news of the summer was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump at a campaign rally on July 13. Since then, the internet has been filled with in-depth dissections of the assassination attempt, including detailed 3D maps and intricate conspiracy theories. I’ll leave that stuff to ot...

A Tale of Two Perspectives: Should Women Have a Male Companion (Mahram) When They Travel?
This has been such a consistent theme in the debates I’ve watched: theists quibbling, deflecting; making a great deal of noise, but producing no actual argumentation worth a damn. I haven’t the patience to even listen! And of course this is what we must expect I suppose since their position is irrational and indefensible.
These debates are so frustrating, although I do think it's worth it for theists in particular to watch them in order to re-examine how their beliefs are built on such shaky ground.
Just want to add my two cents: When Dinesh mentions that two people can interpret the same event with two different perrspectives thats a very disingenous argument to say the least given the contxt from the Bible. Just want to note that this book in particular is flooded with significant accounts that not only contracdict each other, they seem to have happened in completely different realities. For any atheist in the comments, if you ever hear this BS talking point from a Christian, feel free to quote them Matthew 27 v 50-54. In this account Matthew describes that the dead rose from the fucking ground the momment Jesus died on the cross. Now these facts do not show up on any of the other 3 books, quite conviniently. So no they were not seeing the same thing in the different lense, literally one of these m*therfuckers was looking at a zombie apocalypse while the others weren't, thats not a small detail.
Israel could have guided Palestinians out of Islam. It's not about ethnicity, as Arabs (Bedouins) in Israel live very well. Islam is the only problem.
Islam is a problem, but it's not the primary problem. Taking people's homes and livelihoods through violence and political alliances is the primary problem.
"The enemy of my enemy is my friend" old but (not so) gold tactic. On the other hand, both Christians and Islamic values often match quite well with right-wing ones. If only they could see beyond their ingroup mentality, they could find out they are truly made for one another. 🤔
Just hilarious
my condolences
how many know the youtuber nabi asli? he makes animated videos on islam based on quran, hadith and biography of muhammad. here is one about the banu qurayza slaughter. something that caught my attention was that yathrib was built by jews. so it is possible muhammad the warlord wanted to be big boss and had one of the three jewish tribes slaughtered to make the others obey his orders that muslims try to call the constitution of medina. th-cam.com/video/rgOpWLCXdWM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=krDiFVdAefPR9P11
How is saving the lives of the women and children wrong ? Yes, very sad the losing army gets wiped out. But the city & people can regrow as long as all the women and children are saved. MERCY is Not 'just being nice', mercy allows the society to heal and regrow after the war. Kindness to return to peace and prosperty as soon as possible, in a few generations. Thus strengthening the whole community.
Well, here we are, 2020s and Israel and Islam are STILL Fighting Each Other... At some point, both religions need to call a Truce & promise to support and protect each other. You Both say you worship the One True God, so stop hurting each other. Love One Another. ♥

Is there any specific reputable charity you can suggest to donate for Palestine cause? because the situation is getting more and more difficult for Palestine people in general. You are loved and valued, more than hatred and dehumanisation that you experience daily. Much love from India.
Thank you so much for saying that, much love from Canada. Yes, I do know one charity that isn't politically/religiously affiliated. It's called Playgrounds for Palestine: playgroundsforpalestine.org/
What are your thoughts on the BDS movement? Genuine reply will be appreciated from you.
I can see why some support the BDS movement as a non-violent way of bringing attention to the Palestinian situation. But I am uncomfortable with it: I feel like it is punishing Israeli business owners/citizens for the actions of their state and treats Israelis and Israel as a whole as a monolith. Beyond that, I wonder how much good it really does when the answer is really changing external political support for Israel from countries like the US, UK, Canada...etc.
You’re overthinking it. With only a 20 minute meeting you can’t cover that much policy discussion. It was probably just a simple transactional deal, Trump gets his endorsement and he gets either a sum of money right away or some benefit after he’s President.
