Domed crystal? Or flat? The black d4 meridian with ceramic bezel is domed and I’m concerned it will have too much glare relative to the ds4. I bought both and am waiting to see for myself.

Just picked up your 42 mm r1 in cream along with the metal band. Truly thank you for the holiday sale. I’ve been wanting to treat myself with a watch and I’ve been eyeing this for a year and a half now. Finally I ordered the R1 cream in 42mm as a gift to me and I can not WAIT for it to come in :) I honestly might even just keep it in the box because this is collectible worthy company. I know you guys won’t stop.

Update: still wear it often, and I wear the dirt dozen version several times a week. Both running fantastic! The gold plate has held up beautifully.

I've been swimming in many watches with water resistance ratings from 30m to 300m, never had a failure in any of them. It's all marketing unless you are actually diving, in which case you'd have a dive computer and not a watch.

I just bought a S5 Tactical field, and I absolutely love it! I needed something super durable, not crazy expensive yet still stylish, and it just ticked all the boxes. I spend a lot of time outdoors and regularly go hiking and fishing, and it is holding up great!

Vaer watches are tools that the founders dress up in particular ways to satisfy niches and/or use cases. Literally why watches were created in the first place. The modern watch community prefers their watches to be jewelry first, useful second, which is why there are idiot comments to this video, which should be ignored. Keep it up Vaer, love your products.

"10 ATM - Covers swimming and submersion." MAYBE... I had a 100 meter watch for less than a year and went swimming with it. It leaked. Now I won't swim with less than a 200 meter watch.

30atm don‘t need to be bulky and „special“. The Nomos Club Sport Neomatik 42 for example 10,2mm thick 30atm and a glass bottom 😄

I like d4 solar divers. It will be interesting to see how the design evolves in future versions.
