I am completely in awe watching this video. It's absolutely stunning underwater and makes me want to dive in the kelp forest with a vaer watch to accompany me. Hope his kids get to see a kelp forest that's thriving. Let's keep this beautiful place alive folks
This was great! I came here because of the recondition from Jason Heaton on The Grey NATO. Outstanding cinematography and an important story. As a Santa Barbara native, I acutely aware of the threats to the California marine system. If Vaer is interested in doing more work with the conservationist community in the area, message me. I’m tied in with the UCSB system and could introduce you to some really outstanding people in the field. Also now I need to go look at your watches. :)
Here in New Zealand. It’s the urchins that wipe out all the kelp.. they’re the biggest pest.. but they’re also a delicacy we call it “kina” or “spikey gold”
That was a nice video. Obviously, the work is offer much more intense as we have lost many a good friend doing this work. The marine sanctuaries have only exacerbated the deforestation of the kelp forest and the protection of the sea otter will finish off what was once a beautiful undersea garden as a balance in all things is necessary

Great guy telling a great story. Like another person said "wish it where longer". Great job
I watched the video in 5K (2880O) looks amazing. I will be buying a Vaer dive watch this week.
Love this!
Stunning amazing cinematography...I wish the film was longer
Brilliant! Well done, guys.
What a great video. Stellar storytelling and cinematography.

Gave away my Apple Watch and bought a VAER automatic. Never been happier about my choice..
Beautiful footage, well done!
Thank you! Cheers!

Damn. Well done.
Nice video. Those purple urchins are the problem. They take over and devour the kelp. It's a shame. I used to love Abalone diving.
Beautiful video 🙏 I have same experience with my Dad 😊🤿🌅
Well made video, BTW placed my order for an Atlantic Solar Diver today.
Hope you enjoy it!
Woah!
