I think the popularity of Agnetha during those days were rooted more in people's stereotypical mob mentality about hair colors and facial features ... There was a stereotype belief "Blondes have more fun" then which conditioned people to see blondes as prettier ... Secondly Frida's had a more european looking facial features while Agnetha's face has broader less specific racial features .... Lastly, Agnetha-lead-sung songs found greater success in American and Australian soils so she had more attention due to being featured as the lead singer ... conversely, songs lead-sung by Frida were more popular in European countries so she's more visible in europe and less outside europe ... Nowadays, people are more open minded to different types of looks and songs, that tilts the balance of popularity back quite a bit ...

This may not be the best video about Frank Zappa but the main point, that he was an *sshole, as well as talented, is essentially true. I highly rate SOME of his music but there is no group of fans more 'selectively blind' about their 'genius's' obnoxious arrogant behavior than them. 'The Captain' had every right to resent Frank. And then of course we have the ever tiresome Yoko haters. Yes her screeching sucked but on the other hand, on their last LP, MOST of the better songs were hers; a massive influence on New Wave and female artists (B 52's, Lene Lovitch, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Patti Smith, Björk etc). TIRESOME like blaming her for the inevitable Beatles split. How is she responsible for George's resenting Paul's dominating personality??

Being a famous pop star is exhausting and under so much pressure from their record companies. His gift of music and his humble soul will be sorely missed. Sing and soar with the Angels George. Rest in peace.

Todd Rundgren produced XTC. During his them working with them he was domineering and often ignored feedback the band was giving him. In the end the work that Todd did was among the best Albums that XTC made but their memories of that time are negative. I think Rundgren might also need to be a little more self reflective.

At the end of the day, Frank Zappa was a composer, which meant he had to have complete control over the music. Handle's music was not played at the whim of the musicians, they played the music as it was written.

A dear friend of mine knew Felder. All he would ever say was that he (Felder) was a damn good man. I have stopped listening to the Eagles since the lawsuit. With all I heard from behind the scenes, I gotta bow out of any and all decisions made by people out of the loop.
