    Thought I would put my 2 cents in. I have 8 100w Eco-Worthy panels 4 standard 4 bi-facial. On a cold 38 degree noontime I calculated 885 watts output twice. I have aluminum foil behind the bi-facial. I live at 4300' in the Cascades so thin atmosphere. Thanks for the video. Thumbs up and subscribed.

      @@lapinebob I have been thinking about trying to add a reflective base under my bifacials. Would be nice to squeeze every watt out of them I can for sure. Thanks for the support!

    Your wooden frame is almost identical to mine. I'll have 4ea 100w mono's as well. Good video, thank you for posting.

      @@Montana_Outdoor_Adventures any suggestions on additional bracing for mine? I’m thinking of cutting a 2x4 to run diagonal across the bottom to hopefully limit the sag.

      @@rnkustomz I am going to have to rack mine at a 45 as well, I am not using the Ecoworthy mounts as I have a ton of 1" angle iron salvaged from old bed frames, this angle will also serve as the 45. I got 5 twin size bed frames on market place for ten bucks locally, couldn't pass it up.

    I think it's a GREAT little 4 Panel setup!! I may build an identical unit, but like you said, I likely will use 2x4s in place of the deck boards. Thanks for the info!

      If you build it let me know! Would love to hear how the 2x4s hold up compared to these?

    Great video. Did you have to get the permit before installing those DIY solar arrays? I am planning to do it but wonder if it needed a permit prior to do those ground mounted solar arrays. Thanks.

    • @rnkustomz

      @@kajavaid obviously every county/city is different. Since mine are not mounted to the ground, and are mobile, I didnt need a permit in my area, and all my electrical is off grid.

    I'm new to the solar community and have a question about voltage. For the Delta 2, there's a maximum voltage input of 60 but according to the specs, it's maximum wattage of 500. If you wired up 5 of those exact panels, would it be too much for your brother's Delta 2 because of the added up voltage? Do you add up the VOC or the VMP?

    • @rnkustomz

      @@TenTenorioArt you have to take both into consideration, but going over on volts is dangerous, going over on amps shouldn’t pose a threat to your unit. Technically the delta 2 should have over volt protection but I’ve always heard not to trust it and be careful. You can go over amps and it shouldn’t be a problem, the unit is good at limiting at the rated number. That’s the reason I did 2 series 2 parellel. It can be very difficult to max the delta 2, and that’s why I just gave up and settled on 4 panels haha

    • @TenTenorioArt

      I'm considering just getting a single 400 watt portable panel. So many issues and I'm not an electrician or engineer.

    • @rnkustomz

      @@TenTenorioArt as long as it fits the input specs it’s not a bad idea. Also if you live in a cold climate you want to stay 15% or so below the volt limit

      I just bought the same set up. Delta 2 and 4 100 panels. Can you do a video on the exact wiring and actually plugging it in to the Delta 2. Thanks for this video. I like the mobility

  • @kenastl

    With the Delta 2 have you tried to max out the PV input by over paneling it? What combination (series/parallel) worked the best for you to reach the maximum PV input?

    • @rnkustomz

      @@kenastl I’ve never overpaneled the delta 2, I slapped the 400 watts at it and called it a day haha. But I’ll do some digging and if I find any good information I can try and make a follow up video

    I saw these on sale today. Do you know if this solar panel can charge an ecoflow river 2 power station?

    • @rnkustomz

      So the base model river 2 looks to have the following specs: 11-30V 110W, 8A Max
      You should be able to use their 100 watt panel with a river 2 as the panels voc is only 24.5. According to their listing the Should work well with that setup. Thanks for watching and the comment! Bi facial and non bi facial panel should both work

    Can you connect those panels to your big array?

    • @rnkustomz

      @@christopherlueth123 technically you could, but from my understanding you only want to merge alike panels in series/parellel to avoid issues/degradation. But I’ve never tested to see how squirrelly it gets
