- Do you wish to know of the tail end of all bloodlines? The kindred who are so weak they almost cannot be classes as such? The ones who are clueless of this world but may oneday rise to rule it? Come and take a seat while I tell you the tale of this "clan" of vampires.

What if thin bloods are the “end” simply because they are the end of genuine vampires and an evolutionary adaptation of vampires and humans to become closer?
Big if true
imagine running a thinblood that somehow becomes genetically viable with normal humans, and have children who are also thinblood, or an even more diluted hybrid?
@@rougenarwhal8378 That happens on rare occasion already. Their hybrid offspring are called the common mythical name of Dhampir. Revised had rules for them iirc, not sure if 20th did. V5 doesn't yet, but they've been hinted at still being a thing, perhaps moreso recently with Thin-Bloods having a bit of surge in number and power.
Revenants are the closest state to a true hybridization of human and vampire as they are in a way ghouls but better. They lose all the weaknesses of the kindred state, have an intact soul/Avatar, have 1 dot disiplines, and their bodies inately generate vitae. Many revenant already view themselves as the next step in human evolution.
If revenants were more numerous and free of servitude to kindred, they would be a real threat to human and kindred kind alike.
One of their abilities mentioned in this video caught my attention: Their ability to awaken any vampire from torpor regardless of generation. Maybe that is what causes Gehenna. The thin bloods get pushed onto their back foot and in an act of desperation, they awaken the antideluvians. While I have my doubts about Gehenna, if this is true, it would explain why they are a major sign of it. It also means that by persecuting the thin bloods, the kindred are rushing forth their own destruction.

I find the thin bloods interesting.
The others fear them...
I see them as the future of our evolution.
With abilities we'll never have...
They may be kindred.
However are the closest of Kindred
To being a Dampyr.
All they need is for their blood to get stronger and have our strength while still having the evolutionary abilities they have that we don't.
The Thin Bloods... Are not "the coming of Gehenna'.

Theory: what if the gehenna is a fact that vampirism is starting to fade. That due to the increasingly weaker blood ties, and the fact that the vampires of the first 6 generations (probably) can no longer produce new vampires, causes the disappearance of these creatures. Plus mortals become stronger then 3000 years ago.
Everyone looks down on the thinbloods. But then one grabs you and you feel the FULL POWER OF THE SUN. because they can become WALKING SOLAR BATTERIES

Oh, the joy of having thin bloods. So many of our kind do not see their true purpose. They are weapon, ticking away. Put them in the right place at the right time and we no longer will have to hide. Let them speak, but make sure you always hold their tounges tobsay what you want

Not a fan of how they were handled as an entirely new "clan" in V5. V20 just let you make thinbloods of any clan, including caitiff, in V5 they're just super high-gen caitiff.
