I remember from Mummy that the Osiran League is a group of vampire and Fomorian hunters that consists of Mummies, Silent Striders, Bastet, Sorcerers, and mortals. Their main enemy is The Ministry of Set, the Bane Mummies, and the spawn of Apophis (the Wyrm from Werewolf the Apocalypse). They are lead by Horus from Egyptian mythology, who is a mummy himself. Their ultimate goal is to route out the Antediluvian Set and give him his final death.
I will tell an interesting fact. For like half a year I'm incapable of falling asleep without your vtm videos on headphones. I listened to the playlist like 40 times already
This is very different from the Mummy: the Resurrection account of Osiris. Osiris is basically a Wraith Lord now who is responsible for the new spell of resurrection that allows for all the new mummies in the modern age.
That was back when the different world of darkness settings more blatantly contradicted each other. Something I actually really like about the world of darkness as it allows any storyteller to just pick what they like more since "its all canon, but not all of it is true"
Slang has always existed, honestly I'd expect ancient vampires who grew up speaking a now dead language would have even weirder slang. Even a vampire from 200 years ago would call someone a gromless minger as an insult.
i always think you are making a very good job acting your Ventrue narrator, and it is always a pleasure to stay in his company!♥ but this video's remark on slang made me actually laugh, in the good way! this is so amusing and kinda sweet as well, loved seeing your character so disturbed while still relating to his rant! :D great lore video as always♥
The best way to understand social trends is to set yourself outside of them, and examine them from the outside, as it were. Characters like the Honored Elder are one of the best ways to do this. :)
@@Archangelm127 my personal issue is that i am not even aware of many many trends being a thing, while focusing on studying and some specific interests as well. which every now and then puts me to an awkward position, but hey, it is what it is, right?
I think I'll stick to "trusting" in my Prince and Primogen, thank you. I know exactly how corrupt and venial they are. I know what they want from me. I know that if I give it to them, I will be free to pursue my own interests in relative safety. That's more than I ever had in life. But I shouldn't sneer too hard. Mayhap I will find myself knocking on their door in a few centuries... or millennia.

So for sake of new viewers understanding I chose to not mention them for this video. I will mention them at some point the future however but im still not sure how to fully handle them yet.
Anyone, literally anyone: _tries to be a genuinely good upstanding selfless morally just person_
Ventrue: "Ew."
You really feel the passion of the character you're embodying seriously brilliant acting
Hearing a elder during a hissy fit about a neonate using modern-day lingo wasn't on my bingo list for this episode.
"Go off, king." rofl
"Fam? As in family? THESE CREATURES ARE YOUR SLAVES!"
Chill bro you're tweaking.

Laughing in Ordo Dracul.

As someone that enjoys the World of future Darkness crossover setting with cyberpunk 2020. Oh Æthelwin. It’s ONLY GOING TO GET *WORSE*
Thank you for the great VtM lore video!

A ventrue elder talking about people with genuine benevolence? Oh someone’s gonna get heated.
I feel like anyone who survived from Anglo-Saxon times to modern days would have just grown absolutely numb to slang at this point.

@@goopherfluff7996 I'm mostly the same. I think we're better off.
goddamn that oc of yours is inrtiguing and entertaining as hell.
Hopefully Ashspawn never encounters the short kings.
The funny part is that Æthelwin would actually be considered short by today’s standards
@@theashspawn Hah!
@@theashspawn That makes perfect sense. If I'm not mistaken, humanity has been growing taller on average over time.
Osirians are an offense to the blood of the true Father in Darkness and I do not mean the farmer Caine.
Love these videos

Man, an ancient vampire bitching about zoomers hits just right.
Didnt even mention Mummies. The Ashspawn is NOT beating the allegations with this once.
