The sounds of a Shetland summer. The hills and wetlands really come alive, there is so much bird life out there. This clip is from an evening walk at the end of June in Fetlar, an island know locally as the ‘Garden of Shetland’. I return over the hill in the simmer dim. The sound of Tirricks (Artctic Terns) are part of a Shetland summer, they will vigorously dive on intruders into their nesting areas.
