Clive Henderson Plays Mandolin

Shetland mandolin player Clive Henderson passed away at the end of last month. During the 1970s Clive visited Scottish folk festivals, and very much enjoyed his trips to Keith and Kinross, as well as being part of the vibrant music scene in Shetland. As a tribute to Clive, here are a few tunes recorded at a Sunday afternoon music session at Kveldsro House, Lerwick on 25 April 1976. Clive playing mandolin and backed by Charlie Simpson on guitar with Norman Leask playing bazouki - mandolin.
I have known Clive all my life and he was a good friend to me and my family. In Shetland he was a well known and liked character, who will be greatly missed.
