I got one of these, and the Bezel fell off on about 2 weeks... but i loved it and I'm going to buy another one... is just unlucky.

I've read the JDM EFS-S570YD-1AJF has solid links, and is solar ofc.

Great honest review, I actually own one. The baby blue, it's a really pretty watch. Really comfortable watch, you forget that 80 grams of metal is on your wrist. The Casio app when I tried x2 doesn't work, can't send registration emails. Which is a shame. The sides of the case of this watch are proper chrome, shiny as fuck. If it was dulled or brushed like the face side it would nicer just my opinion. The watch has it's issues but I have no regret buying it.

The Seiko 8110 (Cpt.Willard) also had the beveled edge to the crystal, but with a slight dome. The SD1970 sapphire crystal is beveled but flat, making the bevel appear more pronounced. I also have the Cronos L6006 (with Bronze case and high beat PT5000 movement), which is an absolute STEAL at only $130 (on sale Aliex). The Cronos L6006 does have a slightly pronounced double dome crystal with beveled edge. It's a superior watch, imho, to the excellent SD1970 (which I also own). Cannot go wrong with either of them, imho. If you fancy bronze, I cannot think of a better deal than the L6006.

A clone implies an illegitimate copy (counterfeit) that usurps the brand owner's intellectual property (e.g. trademark). The SD1970 does not do this, therefore it is a homage. Also, it is not an exact homage. The lug width on the SD1970 is 20mm vs 19mm on the 8110; the beveled sapphire crystal is flat vs slightly domed on the 8110; the crown guard is positioned and cut differently; the chapter ring is deeper; the hour indices are less smaller and less square and have a yellowish hue; the H/M hands are less beveled at the edges; the crown is brand-signed and screw down as opposed to a push-turn-lock on the 8110. There are other differences...essentially the SD1970 follows the design approach of the 8110 closely but is not replicating the Seiko design.

I got the Steeldive on sale for 65$ and on that price its great however there are issues like bezel misalignment and imperfections on the dial. I dont mind on that pricerange but if they go for 120+ then they need to fix their issues cause they are hit and miss.

I have 3 divers, 2 Casio Marlins and a Steeldive Willard. I have my eyes on a Steeldive SD1953 next.

I love the look of this watch. If it came in a 40 or maybe 41mm it could be my last watch.

After researching and viewing countless videos on watches and specifically the GBM 2100 & GM 2100 models, I can honestly say this is the best review on TH-cam hands down. Thank you for your attention to detail with this watch, you made my tough decision easier, will be ordering a GBM 2100.

Very good point about the sailfish on the watch face,it’s a huge part of the charm of the duro and helps it to stand out. I ordered 2 from the US so that I could have two flour ways of this classic.

Hey, been following since the Seiko Prospex video (subscribed & commented since then), ive reached a plateau in terms of consuming watch related videos (so take this with a bit of salt) but wanted to mention that the AI related voice reading nor the mixing of the music in and out isnt doing it for me nor what brought me to sub to the channel. The only way i or someone else like me would likely resub is if in the recent years you've had an issue with your voice or some disability of some sorts but i doubt the same. Wish you luck if you wish to keep the format.

Don't do AI voice and sudden music mute of talking. It feels so badly edited. I enjoyed the content of this video but it would be way better with your real voice. Being bad at first is part of the youtuber journey but never be shy to try.

Just bought this watch will be here in 3 days. Loved the orange. Your great video caused me to buy this luminox. It will be my second luminox. I also have the bear gryles version. Luminox is quilty of a rolex and durability of my casio g master series gulf master . Also a incrediable watch.

I've had a Casio for over two years and it has held up very well. I have a Steeldive Willard arriving in two weeks and am looking very forward to it. I paid $44 for the Duro and $54 for the Willard.

Amazing review, I love your style

Two years ago, I bought a chinese "Bersigar" watch. You can tweak the speed, and now I found out, there's even an app which makes this procedure much better and faster. I also refitted the watch with a new o-ring sealing (ali express, 50 sealings for 5 bucks). Now in summer, every day I went swimming from June to September, using the watch. No problems at all.

LOL… this watch is beautiful and wears very well !!! It is great at the price …. and there are many others that cost 2-4x the price and are not built any better !!! You want this at higher quality and price ? Look at the Casio Oceanus !!

Nice video review of a very nice Luminox model. Unfortunately, I ordered this exact model, but when it arrived, for some reason, I wasn't in love with it. It has all the great features you reference but for some reason it just didn't quite 'click' for me (maybe it's because it seemed a little light in weight and the rubber strap is quite stiff). Oh well, live, love, and learn. I'm still on the lookout for my first tritium tube watch!

Hi, I love the channel and the watches that have been appraised, but why does Pablo keep changing identities, I preferred the Irish Pablo, his voice was very comfortable to listen to, Spanish Pablo was like Zorro, and this one sounds too generic, you’ve started your channel with a certain style and personality, and now it feels different and no as confidential which is a shame
