Thanks for the update. I’m leaning towards a one network with a 70# power drive with a helix 8. This is for a 22foot tritoon (yes, I know 70# is a little light but I won’t be in rough or windy). This should give me advanced GPS with mega side rear transducer and also the built in chirp off the power drive for under 3k. What advantages there for a recreational fisherman to go to the ultrex/terrova lines beyond higher thrust and auto-deploy? Is it just brushless battery life and quiet operation? Seems like such a huge jump in price for minimal gains unless I’m missing something…. Thanks, appreciate your insights.
One thing I;d like to point out is shaft length on the instinct, the steering and trim motors are so big, it requires going up one size in shaft length for your waterline, the minn kota website doesn't address this problem yet.
I just installed my Ultrex Quest and only took it out once so far. I was impressed with how quiet it was. I only got sound when turning it really sharp and quick.Way more quiet than the old model. I made some crazy moves then hit spotlock to see how it would do and it recovered fast. When slowly fishing down a bank it was silent!
I cannot say this enough...you make it so easy to make a decision on what TM you may want to purchase. Thanks Again!!!

Will you be coming out with some kits for the Ultrex Quest soon? Sheer pins and nuts etc.....

Are you saying the quest trolling motors do not sit as deep under the waterline as the non-quest motors of the same shaft length?
does the 2024 Non-Quest Ulterra need a seperate heading puck? I have seen different answers to this question.
Watch the video, No
Hello....NO it does not need a heading puck. Its all built in to the head.
Can these new motors be mated to the previous motor mountains plates ?
Usually not.
Thank you
does the ultrex quest make noise when you turn it, like the previous generation?

Just got new Ultrex Quest. Got the app. Paired everything. Wont spotlock. Wont point forward when deployed. Programmed button wont work.
Did you update it?
$3900 to $6,100 for a trolling motor? 😅F.U
