Oh my God these right-wing Hindutva bots are such a disgrace. Preaching "Ohh, Hinduism is soo tolerant" yet spewing so much hate against our fellow Indian Christians. Tainting the name of Hinduism with their Hindutva nonsense. Braindead scums
Ancesteral Nambodari Brahmins 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Fake stories spreading st Thomas never come to Kerala only fake stories, Already catholic Church rejected claims especially pop john paul 2 said utterly rubbish claim only poor Kerala people Hindu believe
Malabar church can barely call themselves syrian when they keep calling themselves roman catholics and still have not fully de-Latinized their holy qurbana. Only churches that really are following syrian roots in kerala are Jacobite, Malankara orthodox, Chaldean syrian church, and malankara syrian catholic.
See how she mentioned her caste even the subcaste. She could have just said they were locals who converted. Can't let go of her caste supremacy They also have segregated churches iirc
Thank you Luke Nguyen ... Like your video
Chandrakala is not gujiya!!!
Diwali coincides with Hindu new year???????? Research team needs to research .
You should stop adding orange filter to all Indian videos like Hollywood does to portray third world countries. Otherwise great content and effort
Indians have a peculiar (when compared to other cultures) way of nodding their heads that to other cultures may feel like they are saying no or saying yes or they're not sure. But for Indians it is an unmistakable yes.
This lotus stem kofta is definitely not a Tamilnadu or Chennai dish. Why would someone represent something not native to the place.
There is a gijjiya mold
you forgot Sri Rama Mess, its iconic.
Your cam man is outstanding
It's an unfortunate that ppl finds Christianity to be pride.... They or their ancestors were converted unfortunately during British rule....and these British were those ppl who looted, killed, slaved, raped, exploited etc the ppl of India
Oh luke so good to see you in TH-cam... It's been such a long time...
You said "Camaraderie" ... he heard "Comarade"ri ... that's a win-win situation ... ;)
This lady speaks so well. Like South African Indian. Speaks softly and slowly. Doesn't scream and rattle away like journalists on NDTV.
Many South African Indians are from south india
As an amateur cook, I am always scared that the dry spices get burnt. Thanks or the tip of diluting it in water, it makes total sense - duh!!
And fuck all the animals
its deepavali or deepawali in south india. in chennai, the tradition is to start the day with idli & mutton curry for breakfast
Chef Luke Nguyen is a legend He is a great chef he will will be inspired by the people around the world with his cooking shows
Chef Ajith is a Malayali... he took around Gordon Ramsay in Kerala ... introduced him to toddy and kerala spicy beef 😊...
itis deepa oli ...in tamilnadu...we despise persian hindi language !
And good morning to you too! Why such negativity early in the morning. FYI, Hindi isn't a Persian language, it derives from Sanskrit.
We love Vietnam Luke.❤
i.m from Vietnam's
@luke - Love your videos! However, I noticed something-at the end, you took a bite of the crispy Cao noodle and then put the rest back into the bowl! As a chef, I don’t think that’s the best practice. 😂😅
Excellent video.
Hey! You're not Kenji Lopez!!! 😮
I loved the way you have presented it. In north India food served tougether in large plate is known as thali and in Kerala verity food served in leaf is called sadya. Bro in your narration you have used thali instated of sadya for your information it is enterally different things.
Patti kaadi not worth over rate over hype that another bajji shop Bajji shop opposite Meenakshi Hotel MG Road is very nice but over crowded one baji waiting 5 to 10 minutes but bajji worth it
Appadiye if someone says the name of that resto means...m
Ayyayyoo I wish to eat some of those foods. Looks so delicious.
Beautiful camera work. Kudos to that👏🏽
We grew up on India Chinese, it's the best. Can't eat the stuff that is served in China. There is a long history about India and Chinese culture, especially food. At one time, there were so many Chinese in India that the Chinese newspaper with the largest circulation outside of China was in India! I guess you have left India by now, but if you ever come back, try Indian Chinese, it's fantastic.
The French, love them or hate them 💓
Try to put location map
Hi Luke u have missed out Roll bread kind of french bagaute in selvam bakery which they make for more than 70 yrs where locals eat that bread with coconut milk or mutton curry as breakfast

God bless you all. Jesus Christ loves you. He never fails you.
tamilnade toddy is banned, while... all alcohol are sold legally for high profit... shitty government...and some shitty guys who work for them support it... farmers flourish though this trade... greedy tn gov
Jai Parashurama❤️🕉️
another great video..
They are not syrian Christians they are just lower caste people who used to clean the houses of Portuguese and british invaders in kerala. some had babies with whites and converted to Christianity.
British not ruled travancore. Kerala defeated Portugese Dutch tipu etc. Timur to badshah 2 soldiers raped your women
@@ghaah Omg , a genious indeed💯!!...I wonder why Syrian Christians belong to different denominations , they don't belong to the same Christian denominations as the Colonisers , they also follow East / West Syriac rite when they were supposed to follow the rite which was followed by those invaders....Can you also provide your insight about this as well , Genious
@dingdong1375 just go to syria you will see the difference. These are all local people converted by invaders nothing else. Its proven st tomas was a myth even catholic church stated that. This is 21st century we dont cure diseases now by clapping hands.
@@ghaahThere might be some people who are converted by the invaders in Syria just like they exist in India , I am not denying the fact that some Christians in India were converted by the Invaders , but it's not the case with Syrian Christians in Kerala , also What you told about Christians in Syria being converted by Invaders isn't correct ... Christianity started in Middle East .. Christians in Syria are ancient and much older than people from other parts of the world , it started in 1st century , Christianity arrived in Kerala at around the same time... Christianity is believed to be spread in Syria by Apostles Paul , Peter and Thomas..Most of the ancient Christians from Syria belong to Greek Orthodox, Syriac Orthodox, Armenian Orthodox etc..Which wasn't the denominations followed by the invaders ...Most of the Invaders belong to Latin Catholic denomination, Anglican denomination or any other Protestant denominations... Which is different from the denomination followed by the Syrian Christians.. Syrian Christians in Kerala are from denomination such as the Syro Malabar Church , Syro Malankara Church , Malankara Orthodox Church , Malankara Jacobite Church, Marthoma Church etc. All of these churches follow East/ West Syriac rite... Syrian Christians in Kerala aren't from Syria, they got the name cuz they follow the Syrian rite which is one of the ancient rite...Syriac is a dialect of the language Aramaic which was the language spoken by Jesus and his Apostles.. It's possible that some of the ancestors of Syrian Christians in Kerala are from the Middle East cuz some of them migrated towards Kerala back in 3rd or 4th century...Also there was Jewish presence in Kerala since ancient times and it's possible that the early converts to Syrian Christianity were Jews cuz they spoke the Aramaic langauge. Maybe there were converts from other religions as well like Hinduism, Jainism & Buddhism...We have no solid evidence about that but Syrian Christianity in Kerala is unique..They have their own traditions, customs , cuisines and art forms which is distinct from the invaders...Jews and Syrian Christians have some similar traditions too , one among it is Pesaha ( Passover) Their rite is completely different from the rite followed by those invaders, Portuguese followed Latin Catholic rite which is different...And also the Portuguese when invaded India , they called the already existing Syrian Christian community in Kerala as heretics and also called them ' Sabbath seeking Judaizers '...They tried to forcefully convert the Syrian Christians towards Latin Catholicism, Syrian Christians were persecuted and that's why the Coonan Cruz Oath took place in Kerala where they denied the Latin rite, you can find the articles related to it just by a single google search Where do you think Christianity came from? Christianity started in the Middle East and not Europe 😂..Kerala had trade relations with Middle East since ancient times and Christianity came to Kerala from the Middle east , that's why they have Syrian rite and Eastern traditions...They don't follow Western Christianity...Most of the invaders have Western Christian traditions Ok , there is no proof of St. Thomas coming to India , it's a belief of Syrian Christians in Kerala ..Also it happened like 2000 years ago , ofc there is no solid evidence....You have no right to question belief, they have their right to follow their religion and preserve their traditions One of the mission of the Portuguese was to prove to everyone that Christianity was started by them and hence they destroyed a lot of ancient documents of the Syrian Christians , Churches, many of the Syrian Christian bishops were mu*dered...Christianity in Kerala is as ancient as the religion itself , that's a fact!! They don't convert people & mostly don't accept new converts...Most of the recent converts doesn't belong to any of the Syrian Christian denominations. Syrian Christians are also called Nazrani which is a term used to refer to ancient Christians. Do more research before commenting , I have read plenty of articles and that's where I got most of these information from... And I know that it's 21 st century... People are supposed to be more open minded and respectful 💀... It's 21st century and ignorant people like you exist even today... Comments without even having any knowledge related to the topic you are speaking about... It's 21st century... Grow up
@@Dingaaan writing a essay without any facts dont make it right. Yes christianity was formed in isreal not syria. Syrian Christians are just converts and have no connection with kerala christians. Christianity arrived in kerala in modern times not 2000 years ago. Grow up and come with facts.
Didn’t expect to hear Wilbur Sargunaraj 😅
Hi Chef! I recently discovered your content, and I must say, it’s fantastic. I heard you visited Kerala, but it’s a shame you missed out on Kozhikode, the food capital! If you plan to come back to Kerala, I’d love to show you around Kozhikode. It would be a pleasure to have you here! Regards Janvi❤.
Yes and warm welcoming great people. ❤
