Hi kids, We are Aslie and Nelson, We are a semi retired couple living here in the Philippines, join us on some pretty basic adventures and see what it really like to live province life here in the Philippines. It's basically about day to day life to show you, how it's done and exactly what you can expect if you decide to move here. That's all for now, have a nice day.
Together again!
After 6 long long months, I have finally returned to my paradise and all it offers.

Hi. Which part is your suburb?
Glad you are back in The Philippines amigo. You look happier than a butcher's dog. Love your content. Looking forward to all your new stuff. Cheers.
I am very happy to be back here, especially with her.
Hey, man! I told you you’d be back before you know it. Thanks for the tip about the bulkhead seat. Sounds like a good way to save $1000 over the premium economy.👍
It is always good to get a tip that saves money on an airline ticket!
Very glad you're home. Enjoy
Yes it’s good to be back.
Congrats on being home again with your sweety.

Hi Nelson, enjoy your time back in the Philippines, looking forward to future video's with yourself and your good lady, respect 🏴
Good to see your back in the phils. I made my return in the first week of October just to make sure I didn't have to see any of that cold and snow. As far as a subway goes, i found one on the ground floor at SM North edsa. Take care, Nelson, and enjoy your holiday.
If I'm ever there..I will certainly look for it.
Happy for you both of you. She is a sweet lady.
Thankyou! She is indeed a very nice woman and a complete lady.
I believe there is subways in the bigger malls
Lol...I was still in the Vancouver Airport. That long walk was unavoidable om afraid. I believe that Philippine Airlines has the 3rd to last gate or something. It was like 15 or 20 min walking from west jet to PAL. Augh.
@@SouthPaths hey brother I got here a month ago , definitely pros and cons in the Philippines 🇵🇭
Manila has a subway
Your home for the holidays the best part
Yes thankyou ! I'm want the entire western Christmas thing...working on making it happen.
Hello Neilson, I am glad you are home 🏠🇵🇭
Safe trip brother
Thanks, the approach into Vancouver was really bad..sideways and up and down...tossed that 737 like a rag doll.
About time you get back here to Philippines
When you going back 🇨🇦‼️
Ha ha ha , very soon !! Stay tuned 😁
I gave up on women in the US -- AFTER -- 2 failed marriages. Simply put I couldn't not be me - 'enough' - to please either one of them. --- Not interested any more - too old and quite content alone. --- Now the happy friendly people - and the very low cost of everyday living - is an entirely different matter !!! 🤗 Biden's America has ruined my appreciation for my own country. Never would have believed this is what & where the past 50 years has got us here ? > All I would like now - is a relaxed stress free low cost retirement for what ever time I have left. Long gone in the US -- ESPECIALLY (!) -- on my $1600 / mo. Social Security !!! --- Some evidence has emerged - here and a few other U - Tube Channels - that what you have been describing - is available there. And about 700,000 of my fellow US expats are living in the Philippines already - many for decades from retired military married to Filipinas. An area seemingly can be had over there on about any reasonable budget one requires - or - desires ? --- I enjoy all of these type videos Nelson ! Yours is unique as are many I enjoy. Appreciate the "heads up" for a better way. Stanley Crum near Lipa City & not far from you - has reported many living on about $800 / mo. reasonably well over there. Lipa is a beautiful area @ 1000 ft. above sea level & appears to be cooler with frequent breezes - compared to many other areas ! 2 HOURS to Manila on a new highway. --- Might be a good place for me to begin my search for "comfort" over there ? > Thanks for the motivational video ! ❤👍🙏✌
THAT was a real tuff adventure for an 'old fart' like me ! --- Perhaps a "grab" with some AC would have been my idea - w/very little walking --&-- no jeepneys ? Cost difference would have been worth it for me !!! 🤗 Too old for all that. 👍🙏✌
Yes the Jeepney is hard to do for a long time but the experience is worth it. My back aches after an hour! I'm 6ft6in tall so...takes some getting used to.
even you leave philippines iam sure that theres something you will misss in our country that most foreigner misss too hehehe😁😁😁
Yes I miss Aslie too. 😁😁
are you already return to the philippines this blog is 4 months ago
I return Nov 19th.
@@SouthPaths oh i see nice

That's about right.
as filipino foreigner can also work in the philippines just search what job fits in foreigner so many to choose example teacher , call center and many more
IM LAUGHING AT THIS MANY FOREIGNER ARE AFRAID OF THE SUN WHY ARE YOU VAMPIRE HAHAHA JUST KIDDING 😁🤣🤣 PEACE DONT BE AFRAID OF THE SUN WE MUST BE SWEAT TO RELEASE OUR TOXIC IN THE BODY TO GENERATE ANTI OXIDANTS NOT TO MENTION SUN IS VITAMIN D
i suggest if you are old foreigner find old filipina too they have no time to play or trick you they are the one who are looking for eternal love but if your young try to getting to know first before you marry
My thoughts, too. My girl is 59, and I'm 61. Young girls should be for young men. They need each other.

Oh I'm sure she is.
That's a great video. I like to do this, especially on the beach.
.Hi Modern day drifter, thank you! Yes! Grounding can be done in the beach, park, forest, or any place with natural ground that is safe for bare foot. Aslie😊
Are u ok ur so red
I am very red when I get sun. I'm not lucky to turn brown color. We had just returned from the beach that week.
its normal thing men the reaction of skin especially when you first time come out of the sun 🤣🤣🤣 try to worried when you dont feel anything meaning that is not normal
I love how you describe living conditions in my country. LMAO. luv you for that
There are negatives to living everywhere, but i try to see even the bad in the best possible light. The Philippines is wonderful, but you need as a foreigner a certain adventurous spirit. The Philippines will not disappoint a brave, open person.
with all that said, you failed to mention the crime in the west, especially in the US which is sickening! - racism, road rage, mass shooting or just shooting for no reason, high prices, etc.... i'm currently living in texas; and, the humidity and heat is excruciating.... we had over two months of 100s degrees! being a non white, i have to look over my shoulder from the moment i step out the door. everybody is armed to the teeth. they are packing guns just going to walmart, park, etc... i live in this neighborhood for decades now, and my neighbors are not interested in 'socializing'. a nod, a wave, a smirk/smile is all our so called 'being a good neighbor'. SHOULD I CONTINUE???/
You should come over here for 2 weeks... you will cash out and retire here. Your tensions will literally vanish in a few days. Arriving back in Texas will leave you in shock.
Great vlog. I worked in Manila and met my wife there. She took me to her home in the province where we got married. She wanted to experience Canada so she moved here after her PR was approved. Long story short ... we are planning our exit back to live in the province for good. Lots to do here to wind up and set up retirement but 12 months out is target. One life ... be happy. Will be starting channel to share all the hoops to jump through to set up pension pmts, departure tax ... urghhh ... , reduce withholding tax on pension benefits steps, health care decisions, banking plan, housing, travel, and kareoke 🎉 Keep well and hope to see more videos soon and maybe share your next steps to permanent move also.
Well my situation is work summers in Canada and spend Winters in the Philippines until my 65th birthday then I can stay there permanently on my pension. But yes doing a video of v-log about the specifics of getting out of Canada with as much of your wealth as humanly possible is a very good idea indeed.
good vid eh. im going to Phils for 1st time in November. gonna stay about 3 months. snow bird there instead of goddamn florida. travel some to Thailand and Vietnam. not looking to sell the assets here in Michigan USA unless the deal is too good in the Phils. i wanna hang with the locals in the wet markets and see how the real people live. not interested in hangin with western expats at bars and coffee houses. ive heard enough from them and i can get that here
You're going to have an excellent time. I guarantee that when you return to Michigan, you're going to be shocked at how Bloody bad it really is there. Same as Canada.. the crazies are taking over, and the authorities are too busy stuffing their pockets to notice.
THERE ARE SO MANY COMPLAINANT LIKE THAT,, THEY COMPLAIN AND COMPLAIN BUT IF THEY TRANSFERED TO OTHER NATIONS THEY HAD LOTS OF PROBLEMS AND THEY WILL COME BACK AGAIN TO PHILIPPINES.,.
You're very right Eduardo I just had to make a video to compliment the reasons I have in my other video that you should move to the Philippines. It's a contrast thing.
Hey Nelson. Hope your going back to Phillipines soon. I enjoyed your ''Jungle Coffee ' talks you would do.
I will return mid November. The chats will return.
It is not what this guy saids..It is totally stressful from the passive aggressive service you get ..Good to be able to come home and get some good food and fresh air and destress, then go back..But to pack up and live there permanently is a bad move
Well, it IS what this guy said...for this guy. Your experience was different from mine. I find the West is stressful, and the Philippines is not. Different people have different perceptions, i guess.
Nelson -- why not Lipa City in your travels ? It's a really beautiful area they say - but - the cooler weather is very nice @ 1,000 ft / about 305 meters above sea level ? I heard there are some expats living in the area ? Or is your Filipina from where you are ? --- I think I might like it even ''cooler'' like around Tagaytay ''area'' -- (more comfortable) -- w/o any expensive views -- but as frugal as I can find -- near 2,000 ft. ! --?-- It is an easier trip to the airport or Manila - than some of those places you mentioned. Perhaps is a bit more expensive ? Tagaytay City is pricier -- but less so a few miles away I hear. ✌
Well, we got a great deal on the place where at now, and we have considered moving to another local but at the moment it's not what we're looking to do for the moment we're going to stay where we are.
Incredibly silliness I want in 😊
you have to be real savior to live in the Philippines, personally I didn't like living in there
Thankyou ! Savior I'm not quite that LOL...but I like the place. 😁
It is a noisy place with trucks, karaoke at every house, roosters everywhere, simple tasks take all day, heaps of traffic,no one is ever in a hurry. And everyone wants your money or a gift.
Yes, all true. For some people, it's unacceptable, but for me, it's real live life. I love it.
