To Think I Just Sold A Mint 2002 AWD SLT Garaged GMC Safari With Tow Haul For $9,000 When Some Of These MODS Cost More Than The Van? Why Not Just Leave It Alone And Never Have A Problem For Decades, I'm Keeping My 1995 LT AWD Astro Van. My Prior 1998 Astro Went Almost 500K Miles Before Rusting Underneath But Otherwise Was Still Perfectly Running And Never Needed Anything Other Than Brake Lines, Fuel Lines, Window Motors, Oil Changes, Grease ETC. Even The Spark Plugs Where Original And It Still Ran Perfect If You Can Imagine That? I'm One Of Those It It Ain't Broke Don't Fix It Guys. I Serviced My Rear Diff After Watching Your Video And It's All Like New Now, I Used Motul Towing Grade, With 2oz Of TufOil And Greased The Gears After Getting A Wherr In 2 Of My Astro Vans Rear Diffs At Between 200k- 400K Miles So Time Will Tell If This Works. My 1998 AWD never Got A Wherr With 500K So Not Sure Why Some Get It But Others Don't? Between Myself And Family We Have Had Maybe 8 Of These Astro/Fari Vans. I Once Years Ago In The Late 1980's Bought (SPLITFIRE) Spark Plugs Even Thou The Van Ran Perfect Only To Spend Many Hours Changing Them And Within A Few Weeks The Van Began Mis-Firing and Running Like Crap So I Spent Many More Hours Re-Installing The Original Plugs And Problem Solved So I learned My Lesson, If It's Not Broke Don't Fix It :O) Thanks For All The Vids! Very Inspiring And Helpful Content! Your Exhaust Video Made Me Replace My System To All Stainless Because All The Aftermarket Junk Lasts Maybe 3 Years And Rusts From The Inside (Garaged) With Condensation So Spending The Extra Should Be Well ,Worth It In The Long Run, At Least I Hope It Is But It Sure Looks Nice.

using a dremel i put grooves in the poker, being that smooth makes it hard to pull after significant use. i also put a hole in my protopipe lid, that way can close the lid and light it thru the pinhole.

Literally thousands of American citizens have gone to jail because they refuse to throw their protopipe out their car window when they were pulled over for a traffic infraction. Police can always smell the residue on those pipes and they want to do a deep search. Once they find it dude you’re going to jail for paraphernalia it’s such a handy little unit. People are hesitant to throw it out the window. they stash it in between the seat or put it in their pocket. When the cop says get out of the car and stand for a pass, it’s the first thing they find . my friend, that pipe has put literally thousands of US citizens into jail…

Mike, I know this is an old video, but was listing to your thoughts about traveling and living on the road. I know you buy a lot of things on ebay, are you ever a seller? I have a reselling business and have been thinking about doing it while on the road. Smaller high value items like watches, lighters, etc…would be a perfect smaller merchandise to sell from the road. You could open and close your store at will to accommodate your adventures. I also do some mystery shopping gigs, one of the companies I work for is nationwide and I could easily book/ and do some mystery shops while on the road, to get food items as well as make some extra money. Considering your low overhead, I think you could have a self sustaining adventure and still have plenty of time for yourself and freedom of movement. Just a thought, if you ever get into Kansas, I have a farm here you are welcome to park on! Tim

I needed a pipe and the place on the way during the road trip had a knock off for ten bucks - it wasn't even threaded lol it just started coming apart when I tried to clean it. Kind of like the Wish bubbler that looked like low quality glass but was actually low quality plastic that melted when you attempted to touch it with alcohol. Literally started flaking apart and I couldn't figure out why there was more crap in it the longer I cleaned it until it just ate through lol so dumb and glad I didn't get poisoned by it.
