I know it has been a while since you put up this video. On the CFG rated a 2800 kg, this converts to 2.8 "metric" tons and 3.09 "US" tons. As for the mystery switch behind the seat on the KU45, it turns on the headlights on the cab. There is another switch that turns on only the light on the boom. Why the later switch doesn't turn on all the lights is a mystery to me. I own a different Chinese mini-excavator from a different vendor.

A ton is not a measurement of space. It's a measurement of weight which is 2000 lbs. You could say a bunch of... or a lot of...

The controls in between your knees are called backhoe controls. The controls beside the seat are called excavator controls. Not to be confused with backhoe and excavator patterns, also known as ASE and ISO patterns. I could not stand a manual thumb like that.
