The 48 chevy pickup is not a stock truck. It has an automatic transmission and probably a V8 engine. Imho that reduces its value.

Hi Rob, Wanted to say a heart-felt Thank-You! Very much enjoyed the video, and really felt like was out in the lot with you on a private tour of the collection. I think I could have asked questions until the sun really did set and we were left looking at the almost neon signs under the stamped metal. Will have one for the pinball room one day.

I could probably Google it but I never knew what those little golden 3-piece things were on the front fender. What they were called? On the 57 chevys. But looks like they're all there which is unique.
Please let me know what you find out. I was wondering about that extra trim myself.

A 2 dr hardtop Bel-Air was the cream of the crop in my day.. My first 3 cars were 57 Chevy's.. Thx for sharing...
Military predate me a little bit but they were still around and obtainable in price back in the day. But mainly what we were driving were cars from the sixties and early seventies. Friends in myself by tore up a million dollars worth of cars before they're worth anything. No I didn't go out there just tear things up. I wouldn't a guy with the grandpa that had the big pocketbook. I still make things last. I've got one two-door post 57 Chevy right now and a couple of wagons and a couple of four doors. 1957 was my son's favorite Year.

I love that classic Southwest paint patina. Same thing up in Washington state I hear. But if there's more drastic it depends on which side of the mountain range you are located. Did Noah driver side of the car to paint look pretty well black and it was worn down a great deal more on the passenger side? For the wind and debris hitting it over the decades. Why don't they roll the windows up or at least more so than what they didn't do.
I think this natural patina looks pretty nice!

There are co-op gas services. They sell gas and you go up to the strange setup you put your credit card in and I can explain later if you're interested but I've seen it in the midwest where they're 20 cents a gallon cheaper. Same for diesel fuel as well as gasoline.

Just watch this again. And the Mickey mouse song back from Mickey mouse was part of a decent company. The scaly standard sign is that what I saw as well? There's a pegasus on there. And it was a standard gas sign. Standard gas is now part of British petroleum..
Well I also like the Walt Disney company of our past. That is all I want to say publicly. Disney and Chevron worked together in a major advertising campaign. Some of the signs are simply amazing to see these days.
