Ah, yes! I didn't even think of replacing the whole faucet. The only drawback my wife had with the trailer so far was the fact you have to go full blast to get cold water. This solves that problem! This coupled with one of those screw on directional spray nozzles will be perfect. Subscribed! Hey, while I have you here, We were wondering how your friends are doing with their Opus Lite. We ended up getting a '23 last year and took it out to Co and UT for about a month where we began to despise it. We got back and traded it in for the Mission Overland Summit. We have a few videos up about the Lite and some of our travels on our channel. It didn't fair well when put in real world use, ie trails, rain, sun and WIND. oof what a mistake that was. Anyway, I'm looking at putting a couple Lithium batteries in the Summit this summer. Let us know how the set up worked out once you've had the chance to put it to some use!
Thanks for the kind words! We will be camping with them a few times this summer so I’ll keep you updated. I don’t know how many times they’ve used it since last year, but as far as I know they still like it.
This was a very helpful video. The reason's you replaced it are the same for us only ours is the opposite with respect to temp but still the same issue. Terrible design (the original faucet); especially when you consider its for an RV and water is precious. I have to go full blast to get hot water...what a waste. Thanks to your video I will be replacing ours as well. By the way.....how do you rate this faucet after using it? And....anyone know where you can get replacement grommets/caps for the sink screws?
So far so good! The faucet has worked wonderfully. The one thing I would say about this cheaper Chinese version, though, is that it has quite a bit of oils etc. that are inside the faucet and aerator. We cleaned it out thoroughly before installing.
