Im looking at buying one of these trailers to tow behind my Bronco. Can I ask why you didnt just drill a hole in the bulkhead between the Battery and fridge compartment instead of having to cut out the skid plate and routing it the way you did?
There is a small space in between the box and the camper shell that is basically unreachable, so it would be almost impossible to seal from weather properly.
I’m doing this shortly - there is a little wedge visible in the vid between the frame and the battery box you can run 110v line up from the frame to the outside front of the cabin. Physically drill from inside the cabin forwards so you don’t clip any wires located within. Use a grommet and plastic wire flex for the cabling and call it waterproof and done. I asked Mission, and the skid plate is sikaflexed as well as riveted so forget about pulling it. Another guy drilled through that gap between the battery box and cabin and wrestled with waterproofing the holes. I’m going to do as I initially mentioned, as it’s easiest.
Do you like this camp trailer? I purchased one in July. I have stayed 4 nights in it. My main complaint is air conditioning. I have a zero breeze it cannot cool it during the day. It kinda cools it at night.
I haven’t found the need for AC, we camp in the mountains and it gets pretty chilly at night. We don’t really spend any time inside during the day. Love the camper so far!
