  • In today's video I installed an OVS (Overland Vehicle Systems) Shower awning on our Mission Overland Summit. Below is the link for the TV mount I used for the installation. This is an Amazon Affiliate link.

I literally had the same idea today for my shower. And I wondered if anyone else had done it yet. Great job. Turned out great.

I decided to install the shower cabin in my trailer. Cool idea to use TV holder to assembly the shower cabin.

Will it rust with exposure to the elements?

@robertwilson1827 probably yes, but it hasn’t rusted since the video was posted

I have to admit, I didn’t have high hopes for this video, but this is genius!

Great idea! As soon as we opened our shower curtain we were like - This has to be moved. The wheel well takes up like 30% of the space. We tried to move it forward but the heads inside the slot started slipping. Might have to cut them off.. Anyway, tv mount will be implemented for sure. It seems 'off the wall' but I think it will work just fine. Sure it will rust after a few years, but it's like 30 bucks. Did you come up with a way to keep the mount in place while traveling yet? I was thinking just a Velcro strap with a D ring on one end and wrapping it around the roof rail would work out. Thanks for all the extra projects, though! The faucet and LiPo are going in next week.

I’m glad someone enjoys them! Yes, I am using a couple of harbor freight lashing straps, but Velcro and d-rings sound easier!
