When you pre-ordered the Steam Deck or Analogue Pocket, you had confidence they could provide that product based on the track record of Valve and Analogue. As scummy as Analogue's business practices are, they have produced quality product after quality product. Maybe if he drops some pixie dust, this product will magically appear. 🤣

I really appreciate what you're trying to do here however I didn't bother to listen to the interview. It's largely irrelevant at this point as it seems it's not even in the woodshed...much less out of the woodshed. I wish them the best but I've lost interest in this project. It's all hype at this point. They have the carriage long and far before the horse.

At this stage it's like someone has announced they "are going" to invent a time machine, just because in theory it would be cool to have a time machine. If I were you, i'd stop covering this thing for a while as it will start to affect the credibility of your channel. Maybe one day "if" they ever have something actually made and demonstrable then cover it again.

This is similar to the "PC Fútbol 8" scam, where the guy just bought the license to make himself a big name.

Finished watching, deleted my other comment. I'm gonna say I think HE believes he's developing it. But it's clearly still just an idea. Maybe he/they did buy $50,000 worth of prototype hardware, but that's like saying "I bought a computer, now I'm going to use it to build a time travel portal" ... Just ideas. There is nothing. If it ever happens, and that's a BIG if, it's clearly another 10 years away. Thanks for doing this interview!

Ive donwloaded this but there is no file within the folder that actually launches the app, none of the files open anything at all and ive searched all the way through it. I just want to know which file i need to click on to actually launch the program

I saw in one of the chat comments that it's the same person behind the Cinemartin camera. Long story short, project never ended with a commercially viable product so I believe the SuperSEGA will follow the same route. Thanks anyway to PCN for the efforts on setting up an interview. Better invest time and money in the Replay2 project

Came here for the laughs, stayed for the absolute train wreck. I don't know how you managed to remain professional throughout the entire interview.

That was an extremely poor and awkward AMA. Nothing wrong with the device just being a POC. Should just be marketed as such. They need a lot of stuff nailed down, like the FPGA chip and a time horizon for when they will have a prototype and release.

The fact that this kind of remake is more commercially viable than a respectful port encapsulates why I don't support the modern games industry.

It looks like a lazy open bor remake

Whilst it's great to see this, at the same time, it just makes me want to play the original. Final Vendetta should be an example of how these type of games can be done correctly. I'm sure this plays well enough but will just stick to the original.

There's a fun remix port made years back if you want to play on PC. Keeps the original feel with some fun extras.

Looks terrible. Reminds me of early 360 era “HD remakes” of arcade games. I thought we moved past that era.

Why don't developers want to understand that retro graphics are an art in their own right that doesn't need to be changed. Why do all new remade games resemble flash game graphics?

I simply love the original and this remake just breaks my heart. Combat feels off, hit's lack punch, everything feels stiff and the graphics just make everything look like a cheap mobile game. They could have just re-released the original, tweaked a few things, and we would have be blessed but no.
