One of my favorite 1-screener where Bomb Jack. Never thought I could Play this with a d-Pad but on the Analogue Pocket ( Amiga Core - Beer Edition ) it plays fantastic.
The thing I find most remarkable about Bubble Bobble is sheet amount of secret counters and timers which dictate the item behaviour - and how they keep running perpetually in between games until the power to the board is cut. That first credit played at 9am will be a very different experience to the one played at 9pm and I find that awesome to behold. So glad you mentioned the soundtrack to Bubble Symphony. Finally someone went there so I'm not Mr Grumpy Sourcakes complaining alone in the corner. Anyway, back in the day I couldn't wait to play it on my Saturn and it was one of the first games I burnt to CD after installing a modchip. As much as the game seemed sound and the references to other Taito classics were great.. the overbearing, mawkish tunes reminded me of terrible children's straight to video movies and I hate it music so much. I'm surprised there isn't a hack with an alternative soundtrack.
I completely forgot about that. I never played it in the arcade, but used to love playing it with a mouse on my uncles Atari ST. I also had it for the Atari 800.
The vast majority of arcade games were single screen. You are just rehashing the same nonsense and this is my first and last time here. God knows how you have so many subscribers.
@T200026 I think they may be thinking using a single TV/Monitor instead of multiple displays to play. In that sense they are actually right, but in the sense of understanding what the video is about they are completely wrong. The person reminds me a little of the current UK weather....
@@PixelCherryNinja I will quote one of your replies to someone mentioning Space Invaders. Quote "Nice, those were a little bit before my time to n the arcades, but they are classics nonetheless." I was eight years of age when Space Invaders came out, I played it on a cocktail cabinet, I also grew up by the seaside and we had at least six arcades plus a pier filled with games, fruit machines etc etc. I have been around a lot longer than yourself, both on arcades, computers, consoles etc. So your video is aimed at youngsters such as yourself that have hardly any arcade experience but videos such as this rehashing Bubble Bobble and other classics that pretty much everyone has heard of, is boring. However, I went through the chapters before typing my reply and the lesser known titles such as Nightmare In The Dark were more valuable to me, than coming out with games that any gamer would know about. Snow Brothers I was playing when I was serving Queen and Country in the stations chippy so while you was still a young boy in short pants, some people were risking their lives serving this Country. I hope that the next time, you look in the mirror, you should book yourself in to see the gynecologist.
@@marknorville9611 Thanks Mark, So what are your top 10? You do realise that different people have different likes and dislikes. Even though yours may be different to mine, I would still respect you for choosing them. This is what makes people unique. I see you are trying to insulate some kind of insult with the gynaecologist comment. That's fine, I've never won a debate with a dim or ignorant person, so I won't really comment back on that.

@@retrowarp6528 Bomb Jack is a heavyweight. I remember it being advertised everywhere when I was a kid. I even played it a bit.

The sound in Bubble Symphony, I could not agree more.
"Well known & Hidden Gems" sounds like a great playlist to add to your channel PCN. I would love to see more like that from you bro. 8^)

I played Pang as a kid in the US but it was called Buster Bros.
That's one of the names. I definitely prefer PANG though.
Taito makes the cutest platformers.
