Just found out that Iain Lee (UK youtuber and TV comedian) did an interview with Alejandro Supersega last week where he took the heat sink off the board
This is obs a scam for many reasons, CF cards isn't one of them though, CF is a decent media type, the latest CF cards has 100 times faster I/O performance than micro SD, you can get 128GB to 2TB CF cards with 1500 to 2000MB/s R&W or so, 3 times faster than a standard SSD, even the 10-year-old CF cards are better than mSD, as they have much better random I/O speeds and perform closer to an SSD, in fact, even a 15-year-old CF card is better than a standard mSD card (40MB/s average for CF vs 30MB/s average for mSD), I'll take CF all day long over mSD, no one really like using mSD, we just put up with it as it's cheap, it's way overused. SD proper is much better, more reliable and the latest ones are as good as a full-fat SSD, a nice 256GB SD card that can do 280MB/s with a decent low latency NAND chip for 40 quid vs a 256GB mSD that can do burst of 80-90MB/s and always drops to 10-15MB/s after 5-10 seconds, has much higher-latency and not great efficiency or reliability, dies inside a year for £30, not to mention mSD is fiddly AF and disappear all the time lol, CFe cards are the best though, would love it if the Deck 2 or Switch 2 used CFe cards, they are about the same size as an SD card with PCIe NAND performance 3000-5000MB/s, and you can get a 256GB CFe card for £40 or so, would love to be able to just use an M.2 grade CF card for everything, mSD cards are also feckin horrible for using with MiSTer if you use the Amiga & AO486 cores, larger ISO games can really stutter due to high latency et cetera.
Thanks pixel, be great to get twin cobra. funny SPGA sounds pretty lol. Path of the warrior is Art of Fighting 3 i used to like that game and still after the neogeo cd version.

That ancient Compact Flash cart to me is a huge red flag among the pile of red flags for the SuperSPGA project. Such a scam.

Why is it called SuperSPGA and not SuperSFPGA, if this project actually happens do you think they might be moving away from FPGA to cut costs.
