I own an Analogue Pocket, an Analogizer, an RGB modded N64 with a ED64 plus, a CIC chipped SNES with rgb cables, a scart switch hooked up to a 20 inch Sony PVM M4 and just picked up the new Saturn dongle for my 8Bitdo M30 to pair with my japanese Saturn than I plan to get a Saroo with. BARELY GET TIME TO PLAY ANY OF IT 😎😂
I got a Mister from Mister Addons for like $500 literally three weeks before Taki Udon announced his clone board. I think I got to use it like a single week before the big reveal. I'd strongly recommend getting a Mister Pi and some SNAX adapters, spend all that saved money on controllers or a CRT TV. Either that or wait up for the Mister Pi handheld, that's going to be incredible!
One other interesting aspect of the Sipeed 60k console is it is set up as a pi-hat and will have Direct Memory Access to raspberry pi 5 onboard DDR4 ram. Sipeed told me the price of the 60k "console" will be $60-$70 USD
I dont know that the MistEx project was made specifically for porting cores to cheaper FPGAs, as much as it was for making tools for porting cores to other FPGAs in general (which does include cheaper boards). But I think it could also be used to port cores to whatever supercedes the Mister.
Moving to more advanced, the DE25 is a possibility, for Mister 2, but I don't think that will happen. Only thing that will, is, Mikes Replay 2. That's a step forwards, the rest are either vapourware, scams, or going backwards in terms of the cores and what may be possible.
DE25 only allows up to 1080p HDMI output. Mister 2 should output 4k. This will benefit the CRT shaders, which work better at 4K and higher resolutions.
Looking forward to see you in 2025 sharing all the latest and greatest information for us gamers to benefit from PCN. Thank you as always for what you do for us bro. 8^) Anthony..
I own 2 DE10 Nanos (bought before the pandemic for around 130€ each). One is in the living room, the other will be put into the Checkmate monitor which has a slot for that. I don't own any clone boards yet, waiting for the more advanced models coming from Taki Udon. Can't wait 👍 Love that stuff. Also got a few Amigas and C64s, a Vampire Standalone Amiga as well and the MEGA65. Would love to get a Speccy Next, too one day. Got a Pocket as well and the FPGBC, both really nice as well 👍👍
@@PixelCherryNinja I'm still looking forward to FPGA pcb replacement for the Anbernic ARC. Six face buttons for Genesis/Arcade/Saturn would be nice. Though I like that screen in the RG34XX at 3:2 with 120hz for BFI.
Thanks for the feedback Chamo. It's the first time I've done something like this and it's not something I intend to use very often. It was used just to have something on screen as a potential concept.

When I got my DE10 it was $130 USD the prices have gone insane.
The original clone/alternative was previous version 🙂
Had a Pocket since launch, and have been holding fire on MiSTer for ages. Kinda glad i waited, but it's harder to choose what option to pick now!
MiSTer is awesome, definitely pick one up.

Great video! Nice overview of the FPGA options. I'm looking forward to the Taki handheld.
Me too, I adore handheld gaming.

I was going to buy the koala koa fpga console but it's hard to implement dual ram module so I skipped it.

I would definitely buy a GBA shaped Analogue Pocket!
@@randylawrence6077 Right on 👍
Analogue 3D will not have open fpga, so no more cores besides the n64.
Just done my own consolised mister using a ps3 shell. Built daemonbites with ps1, neo geo, snes, USB and n64 controller ports. Works great
@@roasty80 nice. I think I saw that on Reddit. Keep up the great work 👍

The PS Placable is near, I had to look it up.
Chances of getting Analogue Pocket with GBA+RTC??

All I want for 2025 is a 3DO core.
I'm surprised no one has dabbled yet. We even have a CDi and Jag core.
Atum A5 would be the future, but way too expensive ($2850). DE25 will be around $1K

I hope you guys get one. In the meantime have you thought about the Analogizer?

The AI slop in this video is lol. They need to let you block channels again.
You still can. There's an option that says "stop recommending channel X"
That should prevent the channel from showing up again.
