My brother has a 65 tang so I sent him this video because his tank rusted out.
Modify mount.
An old timer told me that he always sprayed a coat of copper tox on both sides of head gasket when assembling for the extra piece of mind?
Mistake's while doing it aside, at least your actually showing pretty much all the steps unlike half a dozen other professional videos showing installs. Thank you.
Adjusting the cintrifical clutch you should be able to stop the stalling with the tires on the ground at idle
Your positive enthusiasm makes all the difference?
Guessing just putting in hours and touch and goes?
This reminds me, ever heard of a channel on TH-cam called Guzzi Fabrication-D.I.Y Auto Restoration? Based out of Texas, Robert Guzzi' channel is mostly comprised of how-to's and tips&tricks. One such trick is making spot welds to join 2 pieces of sheet quickly without the need for drilling or filling using a TIG welder. This is done by setting the tungsten in backwards and 1/4 to 1/8 beneath the surface of the nozzle. The amperage setting will be dialed to 2x for the guage of material. Securely clamp the adjoining pieces together, put the nozzle flush agianst the surface and fire for just a second. Instant factory spot weld. Sarah may benefit from his channel as well.
probly the big magnet it passes through at security demagnetizing it.... duh
What end on the coil do you connect it to ?positive or negative ?
I spat out my breakfast at the seagull picture for the jack squeak xD

@@rookie__pilot this was the first video of yours that I've seen, so I'll be watching a bunch more after work. I'm currently building a 66 coupe with a 460 / c6, with plans of doing a 6r80 and 9" swap in the future.
@ hell yeah! Welcome to the channel!!
@@rookie__pilot thanks bud!
Oil that clutch!
Hopefully can get a shop soon, n be able to learn how to start rebuilding, n breathing life into engines. Your videos, make it a lot more approachable and give excellent info, keep going strong !
My first two projects were built in the backyard! Build with whatever tools or space you have now, youll learn something regardless 👍🏻
Yessir, bouta do my own stage 2 trick flow cam, timing chain and valve springs on my gt. Definitely ready to learn and she how she is afterwards 🤣
Try making a long go kart
Maybe Sarah and mike will sponsor a pair of nail clippers!
😂😂😂
@@rookie__pilot Nice video. I like the suspension mods and engine placement. That thing could actually handle.
What crossmember manufacture did you use ?
Hello brother, amazing video! Are you happy with the seats? I saw some people are complaining that they have to use a pillow for their lower back due to discomfort!
I havent driven it yet… should be driving by the end of this month just gotta prime the bay 👍🏻👍🏻
dont half ass it...take the time ,make it pretty else dont touch it. it wont matter after that, but if that makes you proud...you do you boo boo
@@rtark52 check the next video, you might like what you see boo boo 👍🏻
Heavy tune... Serious guitar action.
@rockercover some would say its a “rockercover”
@ Or metal cover. 😀
Didn’t hear you mention it but that’s a 97 with a 92 front header panel. That style was only offered for the 1992 model year.
Hint for pull-starting while aboard: yank until your rotator cuff starts to slightly tear. If you require surgical repair, you've pulled too many times - ask me how I know.
Oh my.. 😂😂😂
A small trick on cleaning oil pans and valve covers, use hand cleaners that has no grit.
Nice Junk 🙀🐧🐧🐧🙀🐈🐈⬛🍪🫘🍪🫘🍪🔧🔧🔧
Angel is that really you 😮😊
People that say there is only one way to build a engine & that's the right way, there are two facts about these people. 1st of all that tells me these people have always had money & have never been in a spot when you just simply have to make what u have work! Period! They have always had the luxury of if a part or a procedure or a special tool was needed, they just got to go buy those things. They have never considered the thought of working with what you have. And they believe do such a thing, is the "right way". Wich brings me to my 2nd fact I know about these people. Not only have they never even considered needing to make it happen with x amount, they have never made it happen at all! They know nuthing about engines. Becouse they believe they understand the "right way". I wish they would explain it to me? Becouse the individual decides what the right way is?? Many ways are the right ways! They think they need all of the top machining techneaches performed & they need all new internals of the best name brand! They have no idea about actually fixing the engine. They don't know to home hone. They don't know to grind valves & valve seats & putting a head back together & knowing how cool it is that only you have touched that head & u know how good of shape it is now becouse of your own work. And u know! That's different than knowing becouse that's what someone told you! And all a person knows at all is what they havevbeen told becouse they have never had to do it at all themselves! And they say do it right?? Right is whatever u want to use it for, & u getting to use it just like u wanted. If u just wanted it to run & get u to work & back & that's what u are doing with it,? Then it was dun right!!!
Where's the Focus these days?
When my clutch switch broke on mine I took the wires from it and ran it to a little hidden push button on the dash you press it and turn the key. It was great, rally style shit.
Angel-shred-cakes
I don't care what anyone says, you're doing great work.
WHAT DO THEY SAY
DoooooooD !! Your Parents are badasses no? You are the Man!!!
noyce! Keep on rockin it

Thanks for going into detail 😎👍🍺🇦🇺
YESSSSS VOIDZ RECOGNITION
I see in the video your not using a grommet for the hole you drilled, what’s the name of that part your using or link to black device ? (Relief tubes) Thank you
ALWAYS tie up your hair (as you did later), when working around ANYTHING that spins! I read about a girl who died in a terrible accident which I won't even describe because it's too sickening, but trust me -- you don't wanna die that way or even get badly injured. Love the go-cart!
Never done a car but did use some of these techniques in making a cosplay prop. Great stuff!
Always remove diff and keep shims oriented per side, remove bearings and replace with new ones and new seals. Don't be cheap on this.
Really great video. Well shot, well explained. More importantly: fantastic hair.
I know you have already done this project this will be a tip if anyone is going to attemp this. ALWAYS cut the axle tube as close to the end as you can just beyond the taper never in the middle. As far as welding with a smaller welder, put more of a bevel on the weld area and leave an 8th" gap between the pipe so you get full weld all the way around.
🙌💯
I'm loving the production value and your skill at speaking for the camera. This channel has come a long way and deserves to take off. I actually learned things! I love it when you go into Mexican mode because I need to work on my Spanish. The only thing I'd change is, don't be afraid to insert some shots without background music, too. I know background music keeps the modern short-attention-span viewer from getting bored (ugh), but it's possible to get bored of music, too. If you can keep this up I'll be watching every video you put out!
Oh yeah one more thing--I know the pain of putting in more work than most of the big channels, and getting the views of a channel someone just started where they put on makeup or something. Meritocracy does exist, but still, so much of success is pretty much random chance. Good luck and never stop rolling those dice.
If I was you, I think I would DA the whole car give it some tooth and then glaze it all of it so you can get a flat surface. The reason for that I think if you take gel coat out of the car, it will make it weaker. I think that’s what I would do if I was you thanks and I love your channel. Keep the good work.
Dude!! That was a fantastic journey! Absolute kudos to you for such a great demonstration of this entire topic..
It`s fun watching your projects, all the great memories of my past projects! I spent the weekend wet sanding black paint on my telecaster body, getting it ready for 2K clear with blue pearl. Keep up the great content!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ooo ive been thinking of painting my bass, never done a guitar before!
I always like catalysed over aerosol, however GTsPerformance on Utube sprays clear and pearl over rustolium!!
Lots of elbow grease for that baby. I would imagine it never was "perfect". It might look like a kit car but depends what owner wants.
You're really taking your time to do this properly and it shows. Keep it up!
how do you connect the one bus bar to the other?
10 gauge wire that comes installed in the fuse box to the fused side of the ignition hub
This is excellent. Thank you!
Great to see the knee pad, keep them safe. They have to last a life time.
