You gotta check out the Gloomy Reflections - Oath of the Paladins album that came out yesterday, pretty sure you'd love it. Metal adjacent like your Zombi pick which now I have to check out. Prog rock/Heavy Metal like Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Tangerine Dream, etc. Great songwriting and a shit ton of earworms. I grew up in middle of the swamps and forests of norhern Finland and i was maybe 13 when i heard satyricons mother north and became obssessed with black metal. Dimmu Borgir and C.O.F shirts were popular among others but i was the onlyone in that little town who was really into underground stuff. "good" memories, surraunded with religious freaks <3

Thanks for telling me about it because Scourge of Iron is the heaviest song ever written that’s that catchy. Cannibal and Behemoth are two of the only extreme metal bands that can write actual SONGS and that might be my favorite out of both groups

I LOVE Fulci! The new album kills and is one of the best DM albums of the year and we had soooo many death metal releases saw Necrot live they kill it and your spot on with Midnight it has so much energy and kicks ass. Surprised i didn't see Nile on there with your tastes

I want to put my two cents worth in on the Possessed- Seven Churches debate. In my opinion, it is a very intense crazy thrash album with Death Metal themes.
