As data is collected confidence will build as to what the degradation curve actually looks like under real world conditions. Previous Dot, Superchargers. This Dot will produce a concomitant reduction in the usage of Superchargers by Tesla cars. This has never happened before, a business model that can evolve at the speed of live data collected.

I see this as shameful bullshit or an act of desperation, as if he is worried about next earnings report. I am a TESLA fan but this makes me worried. I think Elon is using TESLA as a piggy bank to fund his Mars obsession. That $50B compensation he is requesting is going directly to SpaceX. The Mars colonization is a valid endeavor; but He should not take the burden of saving mankind all by himself. This is the financial responsibility of the world governments that are already clearly failing against the climate catastrophe the world is facing.

I totally agree Matt, I’m not a big fan of all Elon’s views, but as far as Tesla goes I seriously think it’s current and future success/value will be affected negatively if we loose him. Plus a deal is a deal everyone did know about his links to the board including Fred, if this is allowed to be taken back what impact does this have for other companies? Also if someone offers you (read the board) a really good deal do you have any reason to negotiate? Just pay the man what he earned… he cannot even spend it for 5yrs. Great work Matt👍
