1. Trolley: Not the most important thing, but sometimes after whole day of jumps in the sonny day or some killer offroad you just want to stop at the shop and buy some stuff. I totally agree that telescopic trolley is not needed here as it obviously isn't shopping / around-the-city wheel. Though something simple like in X-Way would do the job - also gives You some seat and wheel protection. 2. It uses LeaperKim hardware and software - which is the weakest point of LK wheels. For some reason they choose worst possible company to outsource them with electronics and software. Firmware in Lynx (which is base for APEX) just sucks - pedal behavior, deep of death on steep ramps etc... (pedal behavior got a bit better since last update, though it still isn't that good as in latest begode wheels) 3. Over engineered suspension - They literally took the best part from Lynx and threw it away. Durability and suspension is what i keep my Lynx for. Instead of making hydraulic sus (that proven itself to work great) with greater travel suited for extreme jumps and off-road they just made some kingsong style crappy solution. I understand argument for flexability, though 99% of riders will just have this on max setting, having this bloated thing to maintain. 4. My general impressions - When i was riding it i got feeling that is just soft Lynx, nothing more, nothing less, totally overhyped. I rly see no utility in this wheel. Nice as a curio, but nothing more. And tbh it's a bit sad, my expectations for this wheel was high.

I like mine, it's a late stage v14, gonna put some grizzlas on it and hope for the best... Might have bought the wheel of a company that is singing its swan song.

I like grizzla, but saying the velcro doesn't peel off and it does with the competition is outrageous. The velcro on mine peeled off fairly easily. Granted it is user error, since the velcro grips very strongly and you have to be careful when removing/adjusting the pads with the way you pull them off, which I wasnt, but I didnt know better.

You should really fix the rim on that V14 though.

Oh boy. No trolley=no buy. Imagine... a flat tyre or battery Metro, down apartment stairs Steep trail with short unpassable section, shops, Dawn Champion going over a cliff again would have to leave it. Never ever buy version 1 of a wheel especially a new brand, the software will suck. Waterproof? Tubeless? You must be mental in the head to buy this, are you sure they have ridden one before, no trolley ffs, couldn't be arsed to design it/copy others i reckon. Totally thoughtless and as for spare parts, version 2 will follow soon, buy again and trust us. Startups huh!

I appreciate your love for the V14, but dude - what’s with alternating cuts between criticizing those bus guys crossing the double yellow and not looking both ways before going thru a green light with shots of you blasting from sidewalks to streets to hopping dividers and going down the wrong side of the road, all while pontificating about how you are grateful to be in their space and you “don’t try to usurp spaces that” aren’t yours and don’t try to take advantage of anything? Was that intentional?

Zen is really nice, raced him in Montrevel france and toured the Italian Alps with him and psycho et al, great fun, caring and very zen

It's been so rainy and I need new waterproof pants before I really keep riding in inclement weather. After the holidays and my kiddos birthday I'll be picking some up!

My buddy picked up the 1000$ master and he loves it! Its funny because he bought lemonade from my daughter at a stand she was doing before we met! Thats the kind of love i like to see in this community, not all the politics. We should all be standing together against the outside world if it pushes us as a community! Not pushing from within!

All of this drama in the EUC community. Wow. When I got into this I really thought we all would have respect for each other with this acquired skill of ours. But the more I read comments from that Mike Grillo thread (and from other videos on YT) I feel like I'm completely wrong. It's like a bunch of narcissist roaming around in the community and I had no idea it would be this way.

Commenting on the fly but YES Zen did say MULTIPLE TIMES he was the EUC rider with the most podium in the world and it does implies being the best at winning races… Which is actually not true as Zac is the rider with the most EUC podium… I am a huge fan of the Zen zone but he got a little cocky on this 😂. We do all agree that he is an amazing rider.

Thank you for the video! If I go all in I sometimes make mistakes, Zen is a hard racer on the track and a polite rider on the streets. The perfect way to promote the sports instead of getting us banned. Next time or the one after.

Agreed without powerpads I would have faceplanted twice due to unforeseen bumps on my suspension wheel. The pads caught me from falling forward.

I love pendulum on smaller wheels, especially once you get used to it on a big wheel it feels so chill and fun, like how is this even possible and yet it is

My thing is simple trail riding. Nothing too technical, no jumps, but i did take a tail once I did regret. Very hard and I got lost. Most days its a short ride on the main trail just to relax. Cheers
