Great video 😁 Thank you so much for posting this, I haven't heard anyone discuss pedal height in such depth. Which is why I thought it was all about wether you were riding on the road or on the trails. Low for roads high for trails. No one has talked about the control issue. Thank you so much I have watched a few of your videos mostly on trails. But watching you ride in this video with the skills you have learned clearly demonstrates exactly what you are talking about in the video 😁 Thank you 👍✌️
I bought lower pedal hangers for my Master Pro because I experienced bad wobbles when braking hard at speed. However, I soon removed them because I couldn't accelerate as hard, brake as hard, or corner at speed as I used to. The braking wobbles eventually stopped over time. Higher pedals may be better suited for specific types of wheels.
@@johnnygovroom thx hey i’m going to be going to pev connections in clearwater at 10am if you want to ride around a bit, i’ll have my begode master to ride
But in the end why kingsong 18xl which has same real wheel radius as v14 is so much more stable on speed and easier to control? 18XL has super low pedals (16 cm) but also 14 kg less. I wonder if this has to do with pedal height or weight difference between those wheels. Maybe If to place pedals in v14 same low it can give same high speed stability effect?
Hey Johnny, i just got the v14 and having doubts if 16 inch is not too small for my 194 cm height. What do you think is the most essential for stability maybe weight of euc, diameter, tire width?
How long have you been riding? - V14 is heavy for 16” because it has biggest motor of all them - Capable of some crazy stuff when you get it figured - If I can help anymore let me know
@@johnnygovroom yes, but i dont use them yet, need to find a comfortable position) my foot size is US 12(46). Also i am really not sure how to place the foot on the pedals in terms of the center of weight, any tips?
👍 Dont get too deep into the science of things, keep things fun with a little of the technical stuff. People want to be entertained with a smidgen of learning. The wrench with pipe analogy was good but show an example. If you want to step up your game in the EUC/vlogging arena you are going to have to do more. Such as adding graphics over top of a slow motion part of your vid. Just talking over vids just doesn't cut it today if you want to grow. I only say this as I see and hear so much potential in you. Best wishes
I’d compare similar to holding a broom handle the further back you hold handle the less precise you can move the broom head but you have a greater degree of movement. If you hold closer to the broom head you get more precise direct control but smaller area of movement. If you hold the broomstick and someone tries to move the broom head is it easier to hold in place all the way at the top or closer to the bottom. There is a trade off and sweet spot in my opinion

Diameter is the crux of stability-

@@Padel84287 yes that would be easier because of weight and diameter

Thanks for the video, very informative and helpful, you speak so clear and precise how you explain things😊
I’m really happy this was helpful for you -
Thanks 🙏🏾 so much for the feedback
are 16 inch tires really bad for deep carves ?
its all preference there brother -

And rider height has to do with this as well….
@@johnnygovroom def agree with you on that one. At 6’4 I have to crouch quite a bit to get closer to the wheel.
